I very much appreciate having this ability to tweak my posts to the best quality I'm capable of, and the changes I've made have been made over the course of weeks. The end result is a post that stands with better writing style and grammar. The reader is left not being distracted by mistakes and an inferior effort.
On the other hand, corrections to posts which contain critical content, mathematical conclusions and such should not be altered by a poster so as to change or correct a position. The original post should stand and the poster acknowledge errors and changes in a new post in the thread.
I can certainly live with the 12-hour rule for editing. I'll have to forego posting a story and clean it up first; though I'm anxious to get my story "delivered." I'll just have to be patient. And if after 12 hours I see where I've used the word "later" instead of "latter" I'll cringe privately.

I'm guessing that you guessed instead of looking this up (what Al said about why I was promoted) in order to put a disparaging spin on your comments.
Just to level the playing field, we all know that I am actually Aaron Hightower, the person listed in the press release.
In the context of this disparaging remark directed at me personally, it should be known that the person making these remarks is(redacted).
I think it's only fair that if you make statements that could DAMAGE my business, we should at least know the business that you are affiliated with when considering any motivation you might have to make such comments.
I do associate your personal comments with (redacted) simply because you work there just as you associate mine with NanoTech Gaming considering that I work here.
Thanks everyone for their appreciation and understanding.
I would further like to put it on record that the probability I would have any problem with the edit policies would not be such if there were not a previous incident between myself and Zcore that got very nasty in my opinion.
Those incidents are all up on this forum for public review.
And while I am hiding nothing, I do edit my posts for the benefit of myself and my business both which are represented in my statements on this forum. And Zcore has made the point that he feels that HOW I do that is a problem.
I disagree. And that's just how I do things.
This post is far more damaging to your business than anything an anonymous poster on the internet could ever have said. This is the exact reason why companies have marketing and corporate strategy departments. You've legitimized your detractor, you've personalized your detractor, and you've done it in a way that makes you and your company look bad.

You may be right, but that's a guess. I'm not hiding from anything, and I do wish to have this problem resolved.
I believe that it will be.

your business? I can't find it.

I did not make that claim. You failed to include the word "could" in your recitation of my claim. I expect that, like Zcore and his questions/statements, your failure to include such word was with intent.

I have to disagree. I realize you know more about the industry than I do. Maybe you know more about all industry than I do. There are times, maybe just rare times, that in spite of the storm you just defend yourself. Ahigh is admittedly controversial in his posts, maybe on purpose. He has put up with a lot of 'cheap shots', maybe made some himself. I can almost understand a rationale for the latter, I do not understand the former.

Ahigh,
You absolutely do NOT have the right to post another member's personal information on here. Say what you like about your own information. 7 day suspension, and I am redacting the info about him you posted.

I will maybe beat 1BB, and RS, to the punch line this time.
ZCore attached a link that led to complete revelation about AHigh's personal info on this forum. AHigh responded by revealing the same about ZCore. AHigh got suspended.
BABBs, you know I love you.
Don't smell right to me.

Oops, was a relatively long thread(s), multiple. I lost track of of who was insulting who. But the press release I noted was by AHigh himself not by ZCore. My humblest apologies to both you (ZCore) and BABBs. I should have known better, kick self in butt now, on the Internet for everyone to see.

And it was handled very well and fast
too. Good job Babs!
I'm wondering why a company president would insist on acting like a four year old in public.
I didn't really read all of this thread and comments. What I did read this "I think it's only fair that if you make statements that could DAMAGE my business, we should at least know the business that you are affiliated with when considering any motivation you might have to make such comments."Quote: AhighYou don't need to guess. If this or any forum, or the members here can damage your business, why in the hell would you continue to participate here? It makes absolutely no sense. A smart business person would distance themselves from the situation. Since a large percentage of the conversation here seems to be negative why do you continue down this road. If I was a major investor, stock holder or potential customer and I seen the president of a company engaging here mostly in negative conversation I would be turned off immediately. IMO That's what could do serious damage. God forbid they read the DI thread.
Everyone knows who Ahigh is. He's Chosen to become a public figure, even before he was at NT his name and identity was well known.Quote: TwoFeathersATLI will maybe beat 1BB, and RS, to the punch line this time.

IMO since he's here promoting his company the forum protection rules concerning PI's and other aspects shouldn't be as strict at this point, especially if its in a thread focusing on his company. I not saying people should use this as an excuse to personally attack Ahigh.
I'm shocked Ahigh would be engaging in shenanigans with his business on the line. If I was a casino or game manufacturer thinking of doing business with this company and someone alerted me to WOV and his history I would have concerns. I can certainly see why Ahigh was concerned about editing rights.
If you can't take criticism well and you're an emotional type of person WOV is a rough place to be. Perhaps a Love and hugs forum as a back up.
