I'll wear a mask anywhere because it's just safer for you and me..

Yes, it is just that straight-forward. Why in the world would someone not want to do something so simple to help their fellow man ?

If anyone who wants to is easily able to get the booster shot, like anyone who wants the first shot can easily get them now, then why would masks be continually needed at that time?

If the majority of the mask protection is for others, and itís only people opting out of that protection who are getting severe cases (have yet to hear of a Covid case requiring hospitalization of someone vaccinated), then why would they be continuously needed, the you canít really protect/help people who donít want it sort of concept.

I expect others who recall more precisely will correct any of my inaccuracies. However, I thought the reason to wear a mask after being vaccinated is because -- while the vaccinated person will not catch coronavirus if they come in contact with it -- they can still become a carrier who infects other people. I don't have time now to check CDC, etc., and I defer to others who show up with reasonable data.

There will never be enough sanitizer to kill this virus!

Just move to Australia and play there, they've conquered the virus.

Breakthrough cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in fully vaccinated individuals have been reported.

DC officials tell Yahoo Life that as of April 13, about 5,800 breakthrough COVID-19 infections ó meaning someone who was fully vaccinated against the virus still contracts COVID-19 ó have been reported to the CDC among the more than 66 million Americans who have been fully vaccinated. Of those, 396 (or 7 percent) required hospitalization and 74 people (0.0001 percent) died.

- Not quite all mild cases.

I'm done with masks (since Dec 2020). It's great.

And WSJ ran an article yesterday that said fully vaccinated have a 0.008% chance of getting Covid. Yet people keep wearing masks. Now, THAT's funny.

.008% of people being vaccinated having contracted Covid since vaccination is not the same thing as probability of it ever happening. 95% efficacy not 99.992

I bet casinos would go out of business if everybody who got a Royal Flush was summarily executed.

Thanks. I was aware that thereís been cases, wasnít aware of any severe cases. From a risk/safety benefit standpoint, if theyíre required after mid summer Iíd still compare it to if youíd not allow people to operate motorcycles or bicycles on a road, or not allowing people to have their pets in any public area because it could theoretically bite someone.

Some folk have a strange sense of humor, I guess. I wear a mask not to protect myself, but to protect others. I hope you recalled correctly about the low re-infection probability. That's good news.

As long as we don't work together to beat the virus, the virus wins. The virus has remained well out of control since the international pandemic was declared. IMHO, most states currently act like they want a double dose of "Michigan." And, they just may get it.
