Greetings fellow gamblers,

I have been working for months on a website to try to teach people how to correctly pay out various casino games, so they can avoid costly errors at the casino. My website has about twenty games so far and I tried to include as many side bets as possible. My hope is that this will help casino dealers advance their career, help casino bosses have enough dealers for new games, help casino inventors teach their games more easily and effectively, and hopefully help me get into the casino industry. If something like this already exists, please let me know, but I haven't found it.

Anyways, I was wondering if there is some society for casino dealers or some casino-related group that would be interested in having some website like this? All of the casino dealers I have talked to said it would be useful, especially for games they considered more complicated like Craps and Pai Gow Poker. However, I don't think I am allowed to give the dealers a link to my website while they are working nor can I talk to them outside of the casino, so I am not sure how to give this resource to the broader "casino community".

If you are an inventor or just have any game that you want me to add (or any other suggestions), please let me know and I'll do my best. Additionally if you have any advice for a young programmer who wants to get into the casino industry, it would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Harris

P.S. While I cannot post a link because I have less than twenty posts on this forum you can access it at harrismowbray [dot] com/casinodealer (I promise you will not get a virus).

It seems like it could be useful. The dealers have a union I believe, and if this is something the dealer can use on their own they could perhaps purchase it from you and offer it as a member benefit. Contacting the UAW Dealers might be a good place for you to start.

I don't see casinos using it. Procedures are very specific and may differ house to house. Also regulations could come into play.

You probably want to market it as a sort of learning website for future dealers.

You know dealers that think PGP is as complicated as craps??? 😳
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, irrational, childish rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

Dear AZDuffman,

Thank you for your honesty. What are some procedures or regulations that differ by casino, for example? My website has options for different payouts and I plan to add some different rule options such as "Hit/Stand on Soft 17".

I definitely want to market this as a learning website for future dealers. Or people who are already dealers that want to learn a new game. My friend in the casino business in Georgia (country) told me that dealers have to wait a long time there to take lessons (at some competing casino). I am hoping pitbosses would be interested in it too, partly because the website can correct your mistakes which prevents dealers from losing revenue from errors.

Hello Dave,

Thanks for showing me this website! I will definitely reach out to them since they don't seem to have resources for some of the games I have.

To clarify, I meant that Pai Gow Poker (or Pai Gow Tiles) are usually the most complex games in places that don't have Craps.
