There is an interesting effect that happens with robots. The closer they get to looking human, the more they get described as "creepy". R2D2 types are cute because they do not have a human appearance. Robots that are designed to look human hit something subconscious that makes people wary that something is not quite right.

Just me, but I vote for $10 tables with visually appealing dealers (real human type), and free drinks (within reason).....
Of course they need to be good dealers, fast game, few mistakes, a little chatter is good too.....

When the robots get good enough to interest me, I might buy one of my very own....

No, by that time you will be their slave.

I'd sooner play at the, as kewlj put it, a "big boob" machine, than at this robot table.

At least the dealers on those video machines are real people. They're still creepy, but real people.

The only advantage of the robot dealer, besides the novelty factor, is that it's using real cards.

So if you're suspicious of the RNG in the video tables and wanna go the robot route, why not just have a regular industrial style robot arm to deal the cards, with a "big boob" dealer on a video screen?

I will vote for industrial style robot arms dealing the cards, as long as there are, quoting here "real big boobed dealers" on a really big screen.
What?
I already voted?
Nevermind...
Liked my initial vote better anyway...
So there, you self appointed poll observation types.....
Youuuuuu MIGHT be a 'rascal' if.......(nevermind ;-)...2F

Because its human looking with a weird tick or movement which looks like its having a stroke or holding back urges to stab you 50 times.

Anybody see the movie "Ex Machina"?

Those robot chicks were hot. Hell yeah I'd hit it.

They weren't merely hot. They were designed to be desirable and able to realistically f***.

I don't trust ANY machine -- period!
