Quote: teddysOh yah, Seven Stars is freaking insane. I still can't believe how much shit they've given me. Just got invited to a great gift wrap up in Vegas where they give away iPads and such.
I am currently Diamond and was debating whether or not to get to 7 Star. As far as CET goes I know that coin in is more important then status, as I've received way better offers as a Platinum then a Diamond due to more play when I first signed up for the card. I played 9/6 jacks $5 (back when they gave out full points) on vacation when I first got the card and it's been paying off in room offers, and freeplay but I don't play at CET at all anymore. My big concern is getting free room year round without extra play. Here's the extra things on the TR site:
Exclusive appreciation gift - Am I getting a crappy trinket?
Celebration dinner 6
New Year’s Eve offer
Complimentary room 7 - Extremely interested in if this means you can book a room anywhere for free anytime within reason (No holidays, or weekends) as I travel a lot.
Upgrade to best available room at check-in 6 - Does this mean you get the suite? I've had 50/50 luck getting upgraded, hope to go for 100%
Complimentary early check-in / late check-out 6 - How early/how late?
Reimbursed fees on check cashing/credit card advances with free play 6 - Interested in this as well not because I run up my credit cards lol

Quote: RSI got the gift wrap invitation too and I'm only diamond. What's it even do or how do you get free shit from it? The online TR reward center is all confusing and I'm fairly new to it.
YouCanBetOnThat talks about it on 2 different podcasts:

http://youcanbetonthat.com/you-can-bet-on-that-8-caesars-great-gift-wrap-up
the gift is about $150, you pick from skymall.
you can get a suite, but it's at check-in, so unless you get a confirmation from a host based off your play, you're only going to get it if there's nobody using it.
you can check in as early as the room is ready and they usually let me leave whenever I want, unless the hotel is particularly busy. sometimes 2-3 PM.
Quote: beachbumbabsMy host always books me through a day past when I'm leaving so there's no out-the-door pressure from them. One of my favorite courtesies, since I'm usually on a red-eye.
I've been offered that but I've never taken them up on it. I don't know what the deal is at CET properties, but at MGM a host can arrange up to a 6pm check-out (anything later than that is considered an extra night). 6pm has always been enough for me.
>No. I actually got two gifts. The first go round I got an Amazon PaperWhite Kindle. The price keeps dropping on this but it was around $130 retail at the time. The second time I got a Keurig K65 coffee maker and a Soda Stream Jet Mini soda maker (this two came as one gift). This was worth about $200 in my estimation and I really like the Keurig (the Soda Stream not as much).
Celebration dinner 6
>You get two: One for $100 and then one for $500. I actually missed the deadline for the $500 so didn't get it (D'Oh!). The $100 I used at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris. It was just okay. I think the restaurants at Caesars are better. I would have liked to have taken a bunch of people to the buffet in Cleveland with my $500 dinner, but I don't have that many friends :)
New Year’s Eve offer
>Never used, not sure what this is.
Complimentary room 7 - Extremely interested in if this means you can book a room anywhere for free anytime within reason (No holidays, or weekends) as I travel a lot.
>Pretty much true. I've used it for rooms in a lot of places, but not as much as I should. I used it a bunch at the Ritz-Carlton in Cleveland, which is owned by the same people who own half of the Horseshoe. It is an amazing hotel. Now they have cut me off and I can't get rooms there anymore. I think I abused the system too much. It's also tough to get rooms in Cincinnati since they use partner hotels. In Cincy you want the 21c Museum Hotel which is amazing and one of the best hotels in the country. It's very hard to get. I usually get the Hyatt in Cincy. I've also gotten Caesars Palace in Vegas for my brother and his friends when I wasn't even there, that was fun to do for him.

>Never tried it. I'm usually good with the standard room.

>I use this a ton. It is a great benefit. I just show them my bank debit card and they can run a charge on it for as much as I want for no fees. It's super convenient. One of favorite benefits.

Annual retreat to any Total Rewards resort or casino
>You actually get two retreats. The first one is for $700 airfare and four nights. The second one is $1500 airfare, four nights, and $500 resort credit. Both include airport transportation. I've only used the first one so far. I went to Rincon in San Diego. I actually got screwed on the transportation since they wouldn't pick me up from the airport or reimburse my rental car. The rental car was not that expensive, though, so it didn't hurt that much. The casino is fine -- better than average. Met Alan M. there completely by accident.
Invitation to Signature Events Learn More
>Usually get a bunch of invitations to tournaments, giveaways, concerts, etc. I don't take advantage of many of these. There are a TON.
Seven Stars Signature Experience Learn More
>This is something different they do in addition to everything above. There is a free cruise (really free, no port fees or taxes or anything) that sailed from New YOrk to Bermuda which was the only thing I was interested in. There was also a trip to Tahoe that didn't include airfare. This is in addition to the free cruise coupon they give you for Norwegian which is good for any 5-8 cruise, but you have to pay port taxes and airfare for that (I didn't use).
VIP round-trip airport ground transportation (within 50 miles)
>Haven't use this yet since I've only flown to San Diego and they didn't give me it there.
There's a world of information about 7S on Alan Mendelsohn's forum(alanbestbuys.com) by him and some guy named Dan Druff. Also Seven Stars Insider newsletter has good info.

"Dan Druff" (not his real name) is a pro poker player. I've seen him on ESPN before.

The great thing about CET (I know I am holding back laughter as I write this but bear with me) is that they are EVERYWHERE, from Rincon to Atlantic City, and everything in between. I actually do use TR as a free/subsidized vacation to several places, and having the hotel attached to the casinos is a big plus. Were you able to get your brother a room because he was using a companion card? It would be pretty sweet to hook friends/family up with rooms.
I was in Reno for a few days earlier on a drive back home and liked the fact I can just stay at Harrah's anytime I feel like it, except on a busy weekend, but this is because I played there, and not because of a 7 Star status. It would be nice to go to a new location comped.
