Hi Everyone, I think I found an error on the practice game for Double Bonus on the Wizard of Odds Main site, it corrects me everytime I try to hold the high card instead of three to a flush with no high cards. I believe you are supposed to hold the high card over three to a flush with no high cards, am I missing something here.

If you have 3 to a flush with no high cards, is it possible that you also have 3 to a straight flush with a big gap? (3,4,7, etc.)

Thanks. He is probably referring to my clunky old Double Double Bonus game, which my brother and me made. For some reason some people get errors on the game. It seems to show the wrong cards sometimes. It works fine for me, so I have no idea what to do about it.
My advice is to forget that clunker and play JB's video game game.

It's possible, I am new to video poker and this may just be one of those rare cases. Thanks everyone for your help, I'll try the trainer again and see what happens. The Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild trainers seem to work fine btw.

I just played the trainer and I had no issues. I also verified some of the expected return values for my hold and optimal play and every one I looked at was dead on. As stated before, if you have something like 9H 8H 5H (big gap to a straight) then you will hold the 3 cards to a flush.

Be careful not to play less than 5 coins. That was a problem I ran into.
