The latest new game, to my knowledge, at VideoPoker.com is Slammin' Multipliers. This yet another game where for an extra bet the player has a chance to win a multiplier.
In an example of 9/6 Jacks or Better, there is a 1 in 6.21 chance any given winning hand on the draw will get a multiplier. This multiplier will vary a little by the type of winning hand, but averages to 7.251922. All things considered, the RTP with the feature is 99.80%. It should be noted the claimed average multipliers in the help screens, which range from 1.82 to 2.03, consider the 84% chance of not getting one at all, which is like a multiplier of 1x.
The following table shows the average multiplier by winning hand, assuming a multiplier was won.
Royal flush | 6.0922 |
Straight flush | 6.7753 |
Four of a kind | 6.7753 |
Full house | 7.3963 |
Flush | 7.3963 |
Straight | 7.3963 |
Three of a kind | 7.3963 |
Two pair | 7.2100 |
Jacks or Better | 7.2100 |
The strategy should be almost exactly the same as conventional video poker. A perfectionist should note that the range in multipliers from 1.82 to 2.03 might cause some changes in very borderline plays, like going after royals less aggressively.
The question for the poll is would you play Slammin' Multipliers? Multiple votes allowed.
