Math is bleeding me dry

The best VP at the casinos I go to have high variance. (all are $1 denom)

Casino #1: best vp that doesnt require higher coin-in per point is 9/6 ddb.
return = 99% but variance is 42.
next best is 15/9 deuces wild (98.9% return, variance = 25.6).

Casino 2: best is dstp (8/5 bp): 99.67% return but variance = 51.75
next best is 9/6 JoB (99.54%, variance = 19.5, which is one of the lowest in VP).

Casino 3: double pay (9/7 tdb): 99.22% return, variance = 85.45
Incidentally, this is lower variance than regular tdb, which is 98.28 (but return is higher at 99.58%).
next best is 9/7 db (99.1% return, var = 28.55)

Casino 4: multi strike (9/6 JoB): 99.79% return but variance = 308!!!
next best is 9/5 super db (99.69%, var = 37.95).


Math says play the game with the highest return but...

-for ddb, you need to hit one of the special quads (preferably with kicker).
-for dstp, you need a good hand with a high multiplier. (and 0.7% of the return is from a multiplied Royal!)
-for double pay, you need to hit a DEALT Royal!!! and for tdb, you need to hit special quads definitely with kicker.
-for multi strike, I have no clue what you need besides a big hand (full house or better?) at the 8x level.

You make 6 figs but you whining about $1 variance? I feel it tho cause losing more than $20 ruins my day.

how do you get $1 variance?
I've lost 4 figures at triple play dstp (8/5 bp).
and that's just this week!
