I was curious on what you guys do to maximize your HPH? We will start with the obvious; you must know the strategy inside and out, you must be playing at a machine that deals you cards at lightning speed, and you must be fast-forwarding through the winning hands by pressing the draw button when being payed out.

But aside from this, is there anything you can do to speed up your HPH ?

Position your hands comfortably on all 6 buttons (5 holds and 1 for real/draw), like you have a home row set of keys on a keyboard, or a pianist playing the piano.

Agreed. Though after about 4 hours my deal/draw hand gets tired (TWSS)

Play something like 50 or 100 play. Also if your able to bet more per hour that can help as well but can cause other problems. I put over 200k in a few weeks ago in one session and made the mistake of being around on day shift. I got the meet and greet from the host. Not a problem but I'd rather not deal with surprise meetings. My point is if I just play quarter FPDW I earn about 10 dollars an hour but just moving up to Full Pay DB Dollars I can earn 20 to 75 dollars an hour depending on where and when. When I play 5 dollar machines I'm earning around $125 per hour but bigger swings and I usually have to get the money on the backside. Now if you can find mistakes or promotions you don't even have to worry about it. I find that hand count isn't as important as total coin in. Of course that is usually playing it straight. If you've found advantages from low coining carnival games that can be big too if you can spread it out to the nth degree. I have a few common tricks that I like to use but I probably shouldn't post it publicly. One in particular can really boost your hourly and usually involves games that are losers.

IMO the more you can diversify the better. Work on spreading your play out instead of worrying about hand count. When you start this you will have a tough time keeping up your maintenance and the only way you can really maximize things is playing higher denominations. IMO you need 50k to start and at 100k BR I feel safe but there is no doubt that ROR comes into play so act accordingly. Honestly, money management is your strongest weapon if your not like all the math athletes on this forum. I think the best players are the ones who are willing to cheat and know when and how to do it with low to no risk of getting barred. Once again it is imperative to calculate the odds when faced with shady opportunities.

Also you have to keep emotions to a minimum. If your down 25k or 50k you have to act and think the same way as if your up that same amount. Don't fall into the rigged theory trap or start to get a big head when your winning. Try to always be even keel. I have a problem that I look and act like a professional. There is no way around it when you put in big coin or play long hours. When confronted always act like your losing. Try not to cause scenes and just blend in as much as possible but at times your on the same machine for 10 hours... there is nothing you can do except try to look like some degenerate gambler. You can always spot the pros at the bar progressives playing as fast as possible and only drinking water never looking up from the machine.

Lastly, if someone would keep me out of the sports book, they could make a fortune from just charging me small fees.

Play multiple machines.

Since he said lightning fast machines with speed credits, I don't know anyone who can play more hands while playing two machines at the same time than they can playing just one machine nowadays(without a bunch of mistakes). One machine will go faster than one can play. Obviously playing a second machine while waiting for a hand pay will get you more hands. I sure that's not what he is asking about.

On the older machines one could get out up to 50% more hands while playing two machines.
