The time is just about 11 am here at my house in Vegas. I went out last night about 11:30 PM and had a roller coaster session losing 10k and around 6 am I hit a triple Royal for 12k to get out ahead about 2500 dollars. So... I play with the dogs and wife and after that I start messing about on the computer. I liked the Steelers Line at -8.5 but never made a bet. Of course I wait till it's at -10 and I have 15 mins left if I want to bet. Impulsive as I am I throw a grand at Bookmaker online and check my bank account CC. It seems I paid 5% juice for that move ...ouch! So I paid 1050 to get the 1000 dollar bet -10 pts to win 900 dollars.

I keep seeing my account as 300 dollars instead of 0 so I mess about and find out that I have to wheel it through the Bonus Area or Casino or whatever. I only have 300 and I figure I'll play dollars although I could fire it off at 2 or 5 dollars or I could try to nit up and play quarters. Anyways I make 4 aces right off the bat and low and behold a few hands later...



All of this while Dish Red Zone is on in the background... not sure I like this Red Zone thing... first year trying it out for me.

You can't see it but I held AQJ and the KT rolled in... So now I should be able to roll that 24000 coin through and even if I lose the football game I should come out ahead perhaps. Either way nice to hit another Single Line Royal on the Computer. This is my 2nd.. my first was a Left to Right Sequential in Quarters a long time ago but I hardly play VP online.

Here is a picture of the Bonus Requirement and Balance. As you can see I only rolled 375 through so far and hit one 4 of a kind and a Royal!

A few good hits there. But do I read it right that you have to play through 24 grand before you can draw out a cent of your bankroll?

24 grand isn't that hard... Even at the dollar level that's about 5 to 6 hours of play for me. I jacked it up to 2 dollars now and that should take about 3 hours max but I wouldn't doubt it if I move to 5 dollars trying to fire it off in an hour or so :)

Oh for sure... actually though it is to our advantage that some players don't want to play machines or other games in the Casino from paranoia. I was playing some Live Poker early Saturday morning at the GN to kill some time because I had a VP tournament at the Fremont and this "pro" kid poker player was telling me all sorts of things and how smart he was. Some other guy asked me where I went for the last 20 mins and I told him I had a VP Tournament across the street. The kid laughed and said well it must not of went so good since your back so early... and the table had a good laugh.

They asked me how to get in and I told them you have to be invited. I tried to explain that it isn't like a poker tournament. In Slots/VP tournaments you play sessions and add up the total points. Needless to say I told them I don't have all day nor the energy to break this down for you all and your all in love with Live Poker thinking your the best in the world and poker is the only game you can beat that isn't crooked. They all shut up after that and I was miserable and happy to go home a few hours later. I didn't do very well in the VP Tournament lol or at the Poker Table losing 350 cash.

Here is another Picture after 15 mins of play... as you can see I almost have 2k in rollover already... not hard to get to 24k.

I'm not banging very hard but I am currently 25% of the way done and now at 4410.00 Ended up making 4 Kings a minute ago.
It would be funny if I finish and it is just play money or they require some other hoop to jump through!

I couldn't stand it and moved to 5 dollar JoB. I ended up at 2800 when I finished which only took about 40 mins when I started with 4k and needed 18k rollover.

Interesting that when I cashed out of the Bonus Area they kept the 300 they gave me so it only turned into 2500 cash which i felt cheated in a way.

So I ended up losing the Steeler game and forgot that the real play I wanted to make was on the Carolina game against the 49ers. This happens with me all the time and this is why I should of quit the book 20 years ago. I did cash a thousand dollar winner last week when I bet Alabama -7.5.

No reason to keep the money on this site to play VP but I could keep it to dabble in the book. However since I am not serious about handicapping it is most likely best to cash out but I fear I will just roll the whole amount on one game in the future.

The point of the thread was to showcase the Royal Online which is extremely rare for me and I don't see another in my future for a long time if ever. Bittersweet that it was from a 300 dollar bonus on Dollar VP but I don't see how I can complain.
