Hi!
Does anyone know what's the typical percentage increase for progressive video poker jackpots—i.e. a natural royal?
I'm guessing it increases a teensy bit with every coin in?
Thanks!

Thought this would be a new dice setting thread. The Holy Grail. Dang!

Typically you would avoid using phrases like "teensy bit" and instead use a rational number to describe the meter rise as a percent of the coin in. A typical casino might be around .5%. Decent machines are going to 1% or higher. 5%+ and you've found the holy grail.
CET and anything about .1% is a miracle.

Thanks sabre!
Originally I wrote "a small range," then changed it to "a teensy bit" to give it a little flair. I should have remembered that mathematical terminology is welcome here!

Historically common video poker increment rates were 0.125% 0.25% 0.375% 0.5% 0.625% 0.75% 0.875% and 1%. It was not unusual to find mistakes similar to when the slot tech meant to set it at 0.5% and accidentally set it at 5%.
You can't know everything, but you can know anything.

Thank you for the insight!
Interestingly, the increment can be set to 99.9%. Even with my limited mathematical ken, I guessed the percentage would probably be about 1% or less.

My limited experience:
MSS and the Cal sets their progressives at 1% throughout the casino except at the Boar's Head bar at MSS. I'm guessing 0.5% there, but can't be sure because I can never be on the machines alone to figure it out. (there's always other people playing there). Not sure about the Cal bars.
Winstar OK - bartop VP is 0.5%. There are some VP machines near Casino 360 that I think might be set at 0.03%. No kidding... I think it took 25 hands of quarter VP to move the jackpot $0..01.

Thanks for your insight. My next goofy casino quest: discover its progressive increment setting! I have my manual 4-digit hand counter ready!
