Color Match Royals

Color Match Royals is a new video poker game that adds line items for flushes, straight flushes, and royal flushes of the color. However, you have to pay a fee equal to your original bet to invoke this feature.

The game can be played at VideoPoker.com, I think Gold members only, and it was featured at the Global Gaming Expo. So, I think this one is on the fast track to the casino floor.

The question for the poll is would you play Color Match Royals, assuming the same return as conventional video poker?

I call this an abomination, so no, wouldn't play it unless paid.

I'm curious about the return if someone is playing a traditional strategy not tailored to the game.

All those 4 to a royals just to get the same color but wrong suit connector. Not sure I like paying double for it though.

Instead of learning a new strategy, why not just play 5 coins at 99.80% ?

Some of the regular pays go up too at max coins bet, especially the straight flush. I should make that clear.

Over half the return in the games coming from colored flushes... wow. Like most of the other video poker gimmick games, I'm probably going to avoid this one.

Also, on the 9-7 Jacks table... I sure hope 4 Aces + kicker isn't the only quad that gets paid. Thinking that should read "Four of a kind".

Thanks, you're right. That is a typo.

I added more pay tables to my analysis. Six total now.
