But I love Triple Double Bonus (1-1-2-4-7-9-50-50-80-160-400-800-800, 99.56%).
Well, technically when I played it today, with 6x bonus point (base point is 0.15% cash back), it not a -EV game in some AP's eyes.
But I still consider it -EV. So, Shame on me.
Second, double shame on me because TDB is not the best VP available. NSUD ( 99.73%) and 9-6 BP Deluxe ( 99.64%) are all better than TDB.
But as I said, I just love this damn game TDB. I love the big swing.
I put 2 $100 bills into the machine, played ~20 minutes, had several chances of holding three (2,3,4s) with a kicker, but never converted.
It really hurt because in this game three-of-a-kind only pays 2.
Then I got this dealt hand. As the picture shows, I still had 135 credits. This was the second time this week I got exactly this hand (four 4s plus an Ace).
This time it was really bad. Didn't hit anything. Down to $15. Then this stupid hand came. F**k it!
You playing strictly for fun...or do you expect to get some free play or other goodies outta it?
Quote: RSNot too shabby. Nice hits.

Thanks.
Mostly for fun.
I do get free plays, but usually give them right back to the casino.
Are you holding your 3 to a flushes though? :p
Bonus deluxe is a much easier game. Hell NSUD is probably easier too.
It takes some serious b***s to go after a $1/denomination machine with only two bills, but it must be fun when it pays off!
Quote: AlanMendelsonYou must have had a lot of "middle winners" to keep you going for 20 minutes. What were they?
You are certainly an expert on it. I got quads twice otherwise I had no chance to survive 300+ hands.

It is indeed fun to get paid. We know that most of the sessions $200 just disappear within 3 minutes in this evil game.
Nice hits buddy.
One day ill actually hit that Royal Iv been chasing. But I mainly stick to 3 times play JOB machines.

Yes, I do play the strategy pretty well. I still make mistakes once a few hundred hands.
I know BPDeluxe and NSUD are easier. I do play BPDeluxe a lot.
For whatever reason, probably just stupid superstition, I got four As plus kicker and four 2/3/4s plus kicker more often than other quads.
That's why I like to play TDB. But 9-7 TDB is not always available everywhere.
This year alone, I already had at least 3 times while I was playing JoB, dealt four As with kicker. That real hurt!
Quote: mrsuit31Does anyone else find it funny, that in both pictures the off card (the A and 4) are both spades... What are the odds???

Wish you hit multiple royals before Christmas!
Hitting the Aces plus the kicker on a full pay is absolutely a treat, and of course comes more often than the Royal but pays the same.
Quote: midwestgbTDB is my game of choice as well. I also love the swings. Variance is the friend lurking around the corner. The slightly more difficult basic strategy is part of the challenge.

Absolutely! Absolutely!

About 1 in 4, or 1 in 16 if it has to be spades.
