bonus poker has a higher payout for quad 2-4's and even higher for quad Aces.

but I saw a bp machine that was 30/6/5 for quads/full house/flush for lower denoms.
and for higher denoms, it was 35/6/5. there was no bonus for quad Aces - 4's.

it's not listed on the Wiz's VP .pdf:
https://wizardofodds.com/videopoker/images/cheat-sheet.pdf

it was as if it was a JoB game w/higher payout for all quads.

whats the return?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

35/6/5 returns 97.36%, 30/6/5 returns 96.18%. Note that 35/8/5 is the best know BP game available at 99.66%

And my local casino has 35/8/5 Bonus for quarters! :)

Nice to be in a market that isn't totally horrible.

Generally, a four of a kind of 30 hurts you and quads of 35 helps you in return vs. the most common Bonus poker setup.

among all JoBs and BPs, 35/8/5 BP is the best.
winning streaks come and go, losing streak never ends.

90-9/6 JOB and 9/6 BP are both superior to 35/8/5/ BP (EV/Return wise, anyway).

Except for 90/9/6 Jacks or Better, if you can find it. Ellis Island used to have it but doesn't any more. According to the bible (vpFREE), Eastside Cannery still has it for quarters.

Edit: I was beaten to it.

Bally's had it (for $1 denom) on one machine for ~ 3 days. Some whipper snapper beat me to the machine and I never had a chance to play. Musta been playing 1400+ HPH with no intent on leaving until they yanked him off.

I read about that machine on vpfree. Exactly why I didn't report the 10/6 DDB bartop my g/f found at Paris (available up to $5 level) in Feb. We unfortunately found it our last full day there. It lasted at least a few months to my knowledge. A miracle that I played a 100%+ bartop on the Vegas strip!
