When vulturing ultimate X, I oftentimes see a Ten play and the previous round had a bunch of 2x or better...but only has 1 line 1 credit bet, essentially wasting all those beautiful multipliers. I don't imagine anyone would be playing 10 credits per line on 3,5,or 10 lines, then all of a sudden play 1 credit on 1 line. So I've come to the conclusion that casinos hire Ultimate X anti-vultures who slip in a voucher when they see a game with multipliers on the next hand, hit 1 credit 1 line, waste the multiplier, then go on to do other stuff.
Well, I don't really believe this stuff......but it makes me wonder -- so often I see the previous round had wasted multipliers. Are people stupid and don't play them through? Or what gives?

I saw a derelict flipping through a machine in an East Coast casino, until he found a 10 cent DDB game with 11X on all 10 lines! A great ~$50.00 find for him!
Until he fed a crumpled up voucher from his pocket and proceeded to bet 9 lines, 1 credit per line. Yes, 9 lines.
He was then dealt trip 4's and converted on two hands for a $199.10 payout. It must've felt like hitting the lottery for him, but what could've have been (a huge difference in utility between $200 and $1,000 for a guy like him)! He was so happy though.
And then he cashed out.

Even playing just one credit per line still gives you a nice edge. Some people are just risk adverse.
Yeah if I ever find a multiplier on a $5 unit, I'm probably betting one credit here.
I have a tough time believing that an AP who finds a game with many multipliers would only play 1 line with 1 credit. I just hate to see all the nice multipliers go to waste. :(
Besides, it's a fixed loss, even if you whiff every hand, rather than something uncertain like a Progressive at an advantage.
