I sure don't trust that card reader either. What jurisdiction is this?

Very old machine ... the card readers are not used. They have no players cards. The attendant puts a card in ONLY when opening up the machine to add TITO paper or some issue with the money reader. Handpays are just a reset with a key

Oh this is in Alberta....aka the great white north

Not totally sure if Alberta deals from a standard, random poker deck, fwiw. I've looked at laws and have never been thoroughly convinced that it was a requirement unlike Ontario.
