I had $50 in FSP so I sat down at a 3D WOF machine to play $5/pull
First pull made $6
Second pull made $3
Then nothing for 5 pulls
Eight pull hit for $75
Nada on the ninth
And, apropos, $10 on the tenth for a total of +94
I ventured over to the high limit blackjack pit and bought in for 3k
There is not much to say other than I was completely massacred
Lost 6 double downs, lost 5 splits and dealer had 9 natural blackjacks in 2 shoes
The 3k is gone
Debating whether to drive home

Oh, god, don't let ZK see this....
What was the minimum bet in the high limit room there?
Quote: vegasYou usually lose early and win late. No time to quit on the first day.
Yeah just really threw me off that it happened in 15 minutes or so
Quote: AyecarumbaOuch. Do you have a loss limit per session that was ignored?
Apparently not - I got caught up in the moment

$100
Quote: aceofspadesArrived about 90 minutes ago - checked into the room - relaxed for a few minutes, then ventured down to the casino floor to play

Were all hands about one off from the other? As in if you had a 17 the dealer either had 17 or 18? or you have 18 they have 19 and so on? Was there a shuffle machine? If not ignore this question

It was a hand shuffle and yes, plenty of 'one off' hands - especially when I had 20 and dealer made 21

Ugh. Hate that
You know it, everyone on the forum knows it, or should know to ask:Quote: aceofspadesApparently not - I got caught up in the moment
Did you lose more than you can afford to lose ?
Just a reality check.
My 2 cents:
- Stay, but take a break, the tables will be there in the morning.
- Stick to the minimum for a while.
- If you aren't having fun tomorrow, then pack it up and head home.
I think having a loss limit is a good idea.
Then headed back to Ocean and hung out watching friends play VP and craps
Dancer at Royal Jelly
This morning headed over to Hard Rock and it was busy - signed up for a Wild Card and was gifted $150 in free slot play, which returned $144 back to me - I then sat down for a few hands of hit and run blackjack and picked up $500
Trip is now -2250
Quote: TigerWuNice dancer.... Maybe try some Tiles!
Haha Chauncey and you are tile pushers lol
You don’t strike me as an onion ring kinda guy Ace. How do they expect you to eat that bad boy when all you get are chopsticks.

Haha I’ve never learned how to navigate the world of chopsticks - although I might be able to play it on a piano
