I know bout nearly everything that Ace has revealed on this forum. I would like to go play at the table with him sometime( please no 'gay'' jokes here). But our games are so far apart that it probably won't happen. He plays big min tables, I play small min tables. My avg bet, and his avg bet are probably similar, but I'll probably never know. Bac79 wasn't real, that was news to me. Apparently I trust people too much. 2F

Bacc79 was also real.

At the very least you have shown the roller coaster that is Blackjack, while sitting at the table. That is admirable. Lots of the posts I read here seem to be just people kidding each other, or disagreeing with each other, or (worst) insulting each other, or baiting each other to see if there is a response. Think the "red" posters that have appeared during your trip report....

You have apparently run out of time to turn around your current trip, that's OK. Lots of time left in 2015. I hope you really are "real". I only say that because I didn't hear anything about anyone noting any comm from you as to why you didn't join the WoV get together other than your cousin's flight was late. Really? You seem to post every shoe or two about your status/events/etc, but couldn't/didn't take a very small moment to tell the whole darned world why you wouldn't be able to make it?

I think perhaps I've been had, again. I hope not, really hope.......2F

If you think I am not real, please feel free to flag my posts and report me to the Wizard, beachbumbabs, Mission146, Face, JB or Zuga

With your play there is no reason why any pit boss would not have stopped the game to allow you to hit an ATM for money or tap your credit line.

I know it sucks, but you should never play to your last dollar and not have options in a situation like this.

Not trying to beat you down, and I hope you get it all back and more either there or in AC.

the flight is boarding shortly so I will welcome all of your post-trip questions and comments
Despite the loss, had a good time and was fun hanging with my cousin

The run of cards this trip felt worse than any of my trips where I lost double - maybe because of all of the lost doubles and basically busting 95% of my 12s
Maybe because I got back to even only to let it all slip away
My cousin remarked to me that if he hadn't witnessed the run of cards in person he would've called "bull$*!+" on me

Alas, c'est la vie, I'll continue to comeback in AC :-)

I'd rather just get 5 puppies. Wait, is that even allowed? If so, you know where to find me.

Ace - glad you had a good time. Sucks it didn't go as well as planned. You still owe me some drinks. Hopefully next time you come out we can do some better planning -- I'll teach you how to play BJ like a real pr0.

Let's hope your flight doesn't detour to Baltimore.

Another great thread leaving us wanting more. People are finally realizing, as I did long ago, that you play your game, you know what you are doing, understand the game of blackjack and don't need any unsolicited advice. When advice is given you always accept is graciously.

I know that I have experienced most, if not all, of what you have at the tables and probably a few that you haven't. I just never keep track.

Could TSA have rightfully confiscated them as "liquids in excess of the .5 oz limit", or due to the alcohol content as "combustible"?

I recall they used to leave a flyer in your bag if they took something out, so maybe not.

FWIW, Prohibited Items. Scroll all the way to the bottom. Note the list was just updated/revised on April 8, though I don't know what the previous version said.

If your bag was subjected to xray before loading, and TSA was being picky (or getting audited), they saw the colognes and were required to remove them, assuming they contained alcohol (which nearly all scents do) and that made them flammable.

I would guess it's almost a sure thing that it was considered prohibited if that's all they took.

So nobody in the USA brings cologne or perfume?

They were 1.7oz bottles
My hair gel has alcohol in it and that is an 8oz bottle - why wasn't that taken?
I had a 1 liter bottle of Grey Goose from the GN giveaway also - that is a hell of a lot more than the 1.7oz cologne bottles...

The argument you presented is specious, at best - I'd say 99% chance they knew those colognes were very expensive and merely swiped them

P.S.--if they were confiscated then they would have left a notecard/flyer
