Interactive Las Vegas trip with befamous7

I will be making a trip to Vegas this weekend and I'm hoping to create an interactive trip thread. My thread would be report based as that's my purpose for the thread/the purpose of this particular forum. However, along with my trip report, I'd love to interact with forum members. The interaction would be gambling based.
For example, I might post "I'll be making a $25 bet on horse races. I will bet on a single horse numbered 1-9 that gets the most votes." Say the most picks are for horse #8. I would place my bet on this horse.
I read the forum rules and I believe it's ok/legal to do this. All bets would be made with my own money. I'm the only person winning or losing money and no one else would be liable. I think this would be a fun idea and change up the typical trip report thread. Don't confuse this with betting at a forum member's request/demand. For example, "Hey befamous7, bet a $500 hard 8." I'm not making bet like this even if it's for $1. All bet ideas would be created by myself. Although, if a forum member comes up with a great idea I wouldn't be opposed to making it.
I am posting this thread 4 days early so I can make sure if this is allowed or not. If it's not allowed I will post a trip report with no participation from forum members. I think this is a fun idea. If this idea is allowed and you don't like what I'm doing with my own money feel free to not post on this thread.
TRIP BACKGROUND
I will be staying at Flamingo this Saturday and leaving on Tuesday. I have a $1,500-1,000 bankroll (not an exact amount because I will be making money before the trip). My girlfriend and I will be staying with two college friends who are newly engaged. This trip was planned before the engagement and it's 100% leisure based. Other than gambling we have no plans or itinerary whatsoever for the trip. All four of us enjoy gambling and are disciplined gamblers (nobody will be making repeat visits to the ATM). We've been in Vegas together as couples before and had an amazing time. We look forward to another amazing trip this weekend.

Well if I see something I like for a big race to be run on Saturday I will post and you can decide what you want to do. Kinda like free info but the info doesn't come from a very reliable source :)

My girlfriend and I are driving to Los Angeles today to handle some business early Saturday morning. We will arrive in Las Vegas on Saturday around noon, hopefully. Our friends will arrive sooner than we will and be checking us all into the Flamingo. I told my friend about the $20 trick, he loves it. As hopeful as we are, we're not expecting this to be a guarantee. Has anyone tried this recently at Flamingo? We figure it's worth a try.
I decided on a bankroll of $1,000 for this trip. For some reason I'm perfectly content with losing that amount while $1,250 seems like way too much. Tomorrow I will start what I have dubbed, Bet With Befamous7 (You think that's too cheesy? I think it's right in between cheesy and clever). If you don't understand what I mean, scroll up and read my original post. I'm excited to start this trip and I hope you're excited to participate in this thread with me. Perhaps we need to put this issue to rest once and for all, and do a real experiment, With a hidden video. Perhaps some website would sponsor the experiment. Most websites probably want people to believe this to be true. since the information drives traffic to the site.
If you do this, can you record it secretly?

The Bet With Befamous7 #1 results are in...it landed in 14. Damn!
Last night we went to Bellagio and Aria. Saw some Dallas Cowboys and a Seattle Seahawk at the craps tables. I said what's up to some of them, they were cool. I always make it a point to not bother people like that for pictures or autographs. The table they were at shot up from $25 to $50 to $100 in minutes. It didn't mean much to them as they were gambling with $500 and $1,000 chips. I wish I had a good report on myself gambling wise but I lost and lost and lost haha. Got smoked on the GSW/PHO under. Hit up the craps tables and I was hitting some Don't Come bets but I knew it wasn't my night when I lost five or six Don't Come bets on the 4 and 10. My friend who has a history of being lucky was adding to his reputation. He hit a $25 number on roulette. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but he rarely makes those type of bets.
My friend didn't try the $20 trick. Sorry I have nothing to report on that.

I haven't had time to make my Bet With Befamous7 #2 just yet. I want to make the bet on a craps machine so I can take a picture to show everyone (does anyone know of a good iPhone app that I can use to upload photos on here?). The machine at Flamingo needed maintenance so I couldn't make the bet.
A couple updates. I'm up today. Made some money on craps and roulette earlier today. The Don't Come has been paying off well. Saw Richard Sherman and some other Seahawks at Caesars. I love Sherman for the record. Made a $40 bet on Creighton -2.5 which is going on right now. Made that bet at Flamingo and I received a Sportsbook drink voucher. I can upload pictures for proof if anyone wants 100% confirmation. I just need a way to upload photos on here from my phone. My teller was a sweet lady and I was very polite. Who knows if that had a factor.
I'll get that Bet With Befamous7 #2 in ASAP!

Befamous, sorry I didn't get back to you with a winner on the ponies this weekend but there were no 3 year old races, only older horses!!!

Note about the Sportsbook drink vouchers...my friend made a $20 bet on the under for the Clippers game and didn't receive a Sportsbook drink coupon. I made a $20 parlay on the same game and received a drink voucher. Seems like the vouchers are given away at the cashier's discretion. I never gave a tip in order to receive a voucher. I was polite the entire time. The second bet I made had more conversation. I chatted with the guy and he gave me the voucher at the last minute. That's two drink coupons for me.

Final trip report. I was only able to do two interactive bets. Sorry I couldn't do more.
On our last day there (Monday) we made our way to Fremont street. Played some $5 craps and quickly lost about $80 and left for the roulette wheel. My friend was playing what he said is called "the iron crapper." It was working well for him. Anyways, I played some $5 roulette with my remainng $25. Hit a couple numbers then went up to about $250. Made a $10 bet on 13 and a $10 split on 0 and 00. I forget the number but it landed on the space right inbetween 13 and the 00 or 0. Darn! We made our way back to the Flamingo where I proceeded to lose &100 on two sports bets. I was 0-5 on sports bets this trip. I blame that on not doing my usual research on games. We went to Planet Hollywood and ate at PBR. We all did a little gambling. Nothing to report on that. Our female friend got suckered into going up to one of the clubs upstairs by one of those guys handing out those wrist bands. I was already pretty intoxicated and wasn't really feeling it as it was $40 per couple. We walked up to the line and I convinced everyone it was a bad idea. As we were walking away they told us $20 a couple and the girls drink free. We went in and it was pretty fun. I was the best dance there. Actually there was only the 4 of us drink and 2 other girls dancing together while everyone was acting like it was a middle school dance and standing on the side watchin. New flash to all you single guys, get out there and dance with those girls while all the other guys stand and watch. Unless you're a model girls aren't going to approach you at a place like that...anyways. We made it back to Flamingo and I decided to play some $5 blackjack at Margaritaville. Wouldn't you know it I actually won around $100. My girlfriend didn't want to gamble the rest of the trip after depleting her $200 bankroll. I gave her $50 to play with (I think $50...). This is how it got hazy..The entire time we were gambling at a table with a newly 21 year old, his dad, brother, and uncle. Over the course of my time playing, the dad ordered a couple patron shots, a Vegas bomb and fireball. Played for a while then headed back to the room. Checked out the next morning and stayed the night with my older brother.
One thing to note is that I originally said I stared with a $1,000 bankroll. I should have said this was my budget for the trip.h
Mistake. That $1,000 included food, not just my bankroll.
If you're ever in that area I definitely suggest gambling at Margaritaville. $5 craps and $5 BJ all night, however the craps stickman said they'd raise it to $10 if they got enough action. No surprise there. You can take your chips from Flamingo to Margaritaville and vice versa which is also nice. The flamingo Sportsbook tellers also give out drink vouchers at their discretion. Be polite, chat with them and maybe tip and Your chances of receiving them are very high.
