Table min is $15.
I only play ante + blind. (No side bets)
I press on every win.

My goal is to get to$100 bet because the cap for a Royal payout (500:1 odds) is $50k.
That takes 8 presses for me.

Winning 8 coin tosses on a row is 1:256.
It takes avg 510 tosses to win 8 in a row.

At 35hands/hr, it should only take 15 hrs for 510 hands.
I've played a couple hundred hrs of uth (both machine and hand dealt) over a decade and have only won 8 straight twice.
Why?

Small sample size or my math is wrong?
Or..?

Only advance on the progression when winning a 4X Play Bet.
Try doubling your base bet so you can get to max bet in 5 wins instead of 8. Or play at a $25K Max table and get to 5 wins from $15.
($15, $20, $30, $40, $50) or ($30, $40, $60, $80, $100)
Play at your max bet after 5 wins in a row until a loss, then go back to the lowest bet.

I played UTH a lot on a cellphone app and found that the most common result is winning 6 times in a row. I haven’t recorded how many times of continuous losing I’ve been experienced, but I feel I can easily lose 8 times in a ow.

My goal is to hit the $100 bet mark starting at table minimum, not bankroll preservation.
It's enjoyment of the action.

Once i reach $100, i stay at $100 bet till i lose for the (VERY slight) chance of hitting the max Royal payout.
Then start over at min bet.

There is a ~46.57% chance of winning a hand in Ultimate Texas Hold'Em, so there is about a 0.22% chance of winning eight hands in a row.

So 1 in 455.
So about 910 hands needed to win 8 in a row, on avg.
910/35 hands per hr is 26hrs.
So I should have 8 wins in a row 7 times.
I only have 2.

And Why isn't it 50% win rate vs the dealer?
Both player and dealer get 2 random cards.
Both use the same 5 community cards

The win/tie/loss rates are about 47%/3%/50%. Excluding the tie portion, the win/loss rates are about 48%/52%. The uneven rate is due to too many folding losses in this game.
