Good evening everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.
Today I was scrolling through Instagram on the subway, and I saw a video of Thai workers gambling in Israel (linked here). For some context, they are mostly betting 200₪ bills, which are approximately equal to $60, and it seems like a lot of money for migrant workers (presumably some of them are betting close to everything they earned that week, which seems to have surprised some of the Hebrew-speaking commenters).
I had no idea what this game was, but it reminded me of Sic Bo. Online I found a demo (linked here) for a game called Thai HiLo, which is certainly related, but I don't know if the rules are the same - maybe they added some more bets too.
Has anyone heard of this game and know the name? I would be interested in learning the Thai name and rules rather than relying on the iGaming company's information.

The layout seems very similar to this, which is claimed to be a Sic Bo game.

In 1998, I visited a casino in Halifax, NS that advertised it had Sic Bo. The game they offered was very different from the game in AC.

This game is in fact a variant of Sic Bo, played on a special Thai board. The game is called ไฮโล (which is pronounced the same as Hi Lo) and it seems to be the most popular casino game in Thailand.
I wish I had details for the payouts of different bets, but they may vary by casino due to the unregulated nature of illegal casinos in Thailand.
