Hi all,

First off, new member to the forum. This place looks excellent so far, I will definitely be studying it closely before my next time to Las Vegas.

Anyhow, quick question: Some casinos just push if you had a Player or Banker bet, and it ties. Some places treat it like a loss and take your money. Indeed, I didn't even realize the former existed until I sat down for a Mini-Bac session at the Luxor a couple weeks back.

How does the house edge fluctuate in games where a tie pushes for Player/Banker, vs. where a tie loses for Player/Banker? It seems to me that it might be an not unsubstantial amount, but I am no math wiz.

Thanks!

Ouch! It makes the house edge over 10%. Did you question the dealer about this? Maybe they were a new dealer. I would have called the floor over if that happended to me.

Wow....10%? Really? At first, I would have guessed 3% tops, and I figured I was being quite liberal in my estimation. But 10% is insane.

I think this happened to me at Mohegan Sun in CT a couple of times...I'm going to have a nice chat with the floor host about this. Thanks for setting me straight!
