Headed to Vegas in June and wondering what everyone does when they have to recycle all those free beverages. Will be playing craps and bj alone. Do you have to color-up and leave the table, and hope your seat is there when you get back? Will the dealers what your chips for you, and will they all be there when you return?

I always leave my chips, but I make sure the dealer knows I am taking a short break and will be right back. I have never lost any chips to this point.

i pocket the highest denomination chips (usually $100 and up possibly $25 and up at seedier places). assuming i pocketed $100 chips and above and have $25 chips $5 chips and $1 chips, i will make 2 stacks of $5chips with the $25 chips in the middle of the stacks. i will then place the stack of $1 chips on top of the other two stacks. if i have an odd number of $25 chips, ill pocket that too. if i have an odd number of $5 chips, ill place that chip on top of the stack of $1 chips.

The last time I left the craps table at the Sahara, they covered my chips with a towel. At the mini-bac table at P Ho, they placed a plastic cover over them when I left for shuffles and other breaks. No issues with either one.

It's really not a problem, but if makes you nervous, take your chips, but ask for your seat to be saved. The dealer will put one of those clear spacer chips on your spot. Most casinos will hold the seat about 15 minutes.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

In Vegas, I have no problem leaving my chips at the table. However, for whatever reason (superstition, etc), I always take my chips with me, and usually leave my whites and a few reds when I take a break in AC. Not that the clientele is bad in AC (although I have been pickpocketed), but I "feel" safer in Vegas with the other 3.2 million people that month.

I normally leave all my chips at the table and have never had a problem. Of course I count to see how much I have before I go to the bathroom, but normally the casinos I play at will cover my chips with a clear plastic cover.

Nope, nothing to worry about. If you want to be nice, throw a couple of $1 chips to the dealer when you are going on break and say, "Watch my chips for me, going to the bathroom/smoke/whatever."
