Well I screwed up and went 3-3 picking the falcons and they won. Fourfive face went 4-2. Bengals was his confidence pick and was 4-1 going in to mnf not 3-1. Gordon you better be bot me going for my you suck ribbon going 1-5. Crazy year. I may have to take the colts depending on the line.

Interesting. I think I just need to beat Wizard by 2, like 4-2 versus 3-3, or 5-1 versus 4-2, or 3-3 versus 2-4 to win. And tie or beat John Zimbo. But if Wizard takes a bye I need at least a 4-2. But if Wizard does not make a confidence pick and only has 5 games it makes it harder for me to catch him. I’ll try and go 6-0 to make Wiz go undefeated to beat me.
Amazingly, I think only Gordon and AvianRandy have been eliminated.

I use https://the-odds-api.com/ to get the lines. I am on the free plan which gives 500 requests a month. 2 requests every 3 hours for 31 days is only 496 requests max per month. For some reason the midnight, 3am, and 6am pst requests said I was over the limit.

Bills are 11.5 point favorites. In my real betting I love the Jets +11.5. Interestingly I can’t bet on prop bets on Josh Allen, implying he won’t be playing a full game. Might just start to keep that streak alive. But then the line moving 4.5 points makes NO SENSE.

To SOOPOO and JohnZimbo, congratulations on taking second and third, in no particular order, if I'm not mistaken.
My decision to take the bye week was not an easy one. I believe that if either SOOPOO or JZ went 5-1 or better they would have overtaken me. I figured my chances to win taking the bye week was 70%. Not taking it was likely less, but I didn't calculate it. In general, when in the lead you want to minimize variance.

It was a fun year, even if my picks royally sucked. I think I might have been the only two-time 0-6er! What a way to defend my title.
The payouts go as follows:

We had 11 players this year, and I thank each of you for participating. I greatly appreciate GordonM888 doing the weekly standings.
It was a fun year, even if my picks royally sucked. I think I might have been the only two-time 0-6er! What a way to defend my title.
The payouts go as follows:
PERFECTION POOL BONUS
Six people had perfect weeks:

$5 of each entry fee was slated to go to the perfection pool.

Each player will receive $10 off the amount owed to Wizard
