Am I the only one who thinks that picking games at the end of the season involves different considerations than picking them in the first half of the season?
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

Using a ‘skip’ week is a strategic decision ( which SOOPOO messed up on earlier…)
Using or not using a confidence pick is a strategic decision decision.
If you are trailing trying to be ‘opposite’ the guy ahead of you is a strategic decision.
Mostly for the final week.
The only possible strategy for me will be to use a confidence pick or not.

Towards the end of the season, I find it harder to judge team motivation - when they will come out flat for whatever reason.
And with so many injuries, it's more important to judge how good backup players will be (like linemen and running backs.) And how effective players will be when playing injured.
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

All those things you mention are baked into the lines. And the ‘bakers’ are better than you or me. I think there is money to be made on specific player props. A team out of the playoff picture might hand the ball off to their running back who came in with 940 yards until he gets 60.
SGA has a long streak of 20 point games. I don’t care if OKC is up 50, they don’t take out SGA if he has 19, while they do take him out if he has 31.
