Hey so I've recently been locked out of my bovada account and they want me to send in a copy of my bank statement as proof of current address. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not a big gambler but my money in my account is froze until I do something.

Ik this might not be the most appropriate subreddit to post this question but I figured someone here would be able to help. Thanks!

Im not sure if this is a legit question or just a way to plug that website.

Back in the day Bovada almost never verified accounts. Nowadays, almost all online casinos require proof of address and identity. I only know a few that don't and they probably reserve the right to.

Did they say it has to be a bank statement or will any utility bill or legit proof of address be sufficient? How did you fund your account? Some people may not have a bank account. Why not just send it in and unlock your account?

fun fact: BoVADA and Slots LV won't accept players from Las Vegas NeVADA.

It is probably legit. Same as having to fill out an IRS form to get payment, I forget the form number. W-9 maybe? I think I also had to send in a copy of my drivers license to prove identity. Or maybe that proved address, I forget exactly been over a year since I cashed out.

I would say it is legit.
