Unfortunately I do not know anyone in Las Vegas.
I will add $10.00 to money sent to buy a drink as a thank you.
If anyone can do this I can be sent a private message.
Just out of curiosity how much are you going to bet and what line are you expecting?Quote: jwblueI love the Broncos on the spread.

$100. Possibly a little more.
I can pay by PayPal, Chase QuickPay, or Google Wallet.

Grrr.Quote: Zcore13Save the Vig and just bet with me. $100, you get Denver +5.5.

Saving the Vig is for puss***.
And it's bad luck.
Also it's probably extra illegal and in bad taste for a casino executive of your caliber to make such an offer☺
Also, social gambling between 2 individuals is legal in most States and would not be prosecuted in the others. Illigal betting occurs when the house or bookie or host take a cut.
You are way off base thinking because I work at a casino I can't place a bet with someone on a sporting event, a round of golf or even a home poker game.

Lighten up I was joking (obviously saving vig doesn't change anything but the amount of $ in your wallet) because I may have wanted the action. I PMed him before I even read your reply and told him he was way better off betting with you for value. I also told him your reputation hasn't been questioned(If you don't ask Ahigh that is).Quote: Zcore13Saving the vig is unlucky and changes the outcome of the game? Really?

Thank you? And since I pride myself in being the almost polar opposite of that guy you mentioned, I would take him questioning me as a compliment.

Be careful though: taking sports bets over the Internet -- even if it's just one bet -- may be illegal under the 1961 Wire Act. The Internet is interstate commerce, and there has been a lot of ink spilled pointing out that "being in the business of betting or wagering" is meant to apply to bookies rather than pari-mutuel track operators:Quote: Zcore13Saving the vig is unlucky and changes the outcome of the game? Quote: 18 U.S. Code § 1084 - Transmission of wagering information; penalties
(a) Whoever being engaged in the business of betting or wagering knowingly uses a wire communication facility for the transmission in interstate or foreign commerce of bets or wagers or information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers on any sporting event or contest, or for the transmission of a wire communication which entitles the recipient to receive money or credit as a result of bets or wagers, or for information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

Note that nothing in that language refers to the bookie taking a vig.
I'm not aware of any individual being prosecuted for a single violation of this statute, but I wouldn't want to be the first.

I'm ready for the challenge. :)
