Hi I see a sports book that frequently adds a point or a point and a half sometimes I think 2 to heavy NFL underdogs. I guess to get some action on them . For example 14 to 15.5 or 14.5 to 16. Normally they will increase the juice to -130 or something. But you can do a teaser at -110 I believe and you are getting that 1 to 2 points for free and a 6 point teaser will cross 17 and 21 making it a 3 touchdown spread, is this an EV position ?

It definitely can be +EV.

Agree. You have to figure it out one game at a time. There are other opportunities besides big dogs. If they're giving you free points, just play with the numbers and see what you find.

If there is a 22% chance the team loses by between 15 and 21 (or 22) points it is a good bet, otherwise it is not.

My favorite teaser play is when I see a home dog of +3 -130. In this case the line should probably be +2.5, but they don't want to move off the key number of 3.
You can tease to +9.
Ideally, you are betting 2-team teasers at -110, ties push. That's what my pay-per-head bookie offers. If you're selective, you'll show a profit over the course of a season.

The only time I will play teasers is when I see teams between +1.5 and +2.5.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.
