Those who track parlay odds know that a parlay with all -110 bets is at the mercy of the casino's payout structure, whereas adding a single bet that isn't -110 forces a manual odds calculation and can sometimes lead to a better payout. For example, standard 4-way parlay usually pays 11:1 but 3x -110 plus 1x -120 pays ~11.76:1.
I personally only bet on the NHL and NFL, because those are the only sports I follow and I can make some sort of informed decision on. In NHL, the lines are very rarely -110, so my parlays are already calculated. In NFL, you can sometimes find a 1-2 point favorite/underdog and take them on the Money Line instead, thus bumping up your potential win versus taking off the board odds.
My problem lies with any other NFL parlays. Buying a random half point at -120 would get me my max value on certain parlays. The problem is finding a casino that will do it. William Hill doesn't allow it, and some of the workers have commented that they don't see why since it would only reduce the payout (Not always true, but I don't expect everyone to care about numbers as much as I/we do). Cantor doesn't allow it either, at least through the mobile app that I use.
TL;DR - Has anyone found a Vegas sportsbook that allows half-point buys as part of parlays? The Wizard mentions this tactic in his page on sports betting, but I've had no luck so far. Granted I still have places to check, but I'm wondering if anyone can confirm success with this.

I think you better hope for some private messages.
IIRC the Wizard has stories about where it was good, sooner or later someone tells you your action is not wanted.

the next time Dame Fortune toys with your heart, your soul and your wallet, raise your glass and praise her thus: “Thanks for nothing, you cold-hearted, evil, damnable, nefarious, low-life, malicious monster from Hell!” She is, after all, stone deaf. ... Arnold Snyder

Sorry, I don't know of any brick and mortar places which do that, however I know at least one 5dimes and Bovada allow for that.

I figure it will be a tough thing to find. While the end level employees may not understand, the higher ups who set the odds are probably more informed and block it for the same reason I'm searching for it.
