It looks like there is a good chance that rule 6 will apply next week:
6.) In the event of a possible tie in record, for the Super Bowl, there will be additional Prop stats which must be selected, though I've not decided on them yet. Mission, since you are in the running, perhaps you shouldn't be picking the prop match.
I would probably go with a guess the score in case of the tiebreaker with the one closest to the actual score (difference in points by each team) wins.
Good luck to those who are still in it!
It doesn't apply to me, I stated that I would have to win outright and could not tie in record and do the questions since I would be the one deciding what the questions are. The result of that is, I am the only person with 12 points who is eliminated, but I am eliminated, because I cannot win outright.

10.) If a tie is mathematically possible going into the Super Bowl, then each player who could tie will be asked to answer eleven questions about the game to be played, and in the event of a tie, the most answers correct shall be declared the winner. I am the only exception to this Rule, in order to win, I must win outright.
Quote: BozI believe Beardgoat had OVER in the Seahawks game and therefore is still up 1.
Correct, so everyone with 12 points is eliminated.
1.) Anyone with thirteen Points must pick both games differently than Beardgoat, at least one game differently than JML24 and no game picked against Beardgoat can have Beardgoat win or be a No-Decision.
2.) JML24 must have one pick different from Beardgoat, which he actually failed to do this week.
3.) If anyone else wishes to make picks just to see how many points with which they would have finished, that is fine, but I'm only sending the eleven questions to those with a chance to win.

Here are my predictions, even though the lines have not been posted:
The Super Bowl Lines are as follows:
DEN -2.5 v. SEA +2.5 O/U 47
In addition, please PM answers to the following eleven questions.
1.) Who won the game and what is the exact margin of victory?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question two.
2.) How many points did the winning team score?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question three.
3.) How many points did the losing team score?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question four.
4.) How many COMBINED points were scored by Defense and Special Teams?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question five.
5.) How many total points were scored by the offenses?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question six.
6.) In a multiple of ten, how many passing yards were achieved by Peyton Manning?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question seven.
7.) In a multiple of ten, how many passing yards were achieved by Russell Wilson?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question eight.
8.) How many Interceptions were thrown in this game?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question nine.
9.) How many Punts were there in this game?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question ten.
10.) How many first downs were there in this game?
If there is a tie, and two answers are the same (or same amount off) move to question eleven.
11.) How many total rushing or passing plays in this game were for a loss of yards?
Quote: BeardgoatCould you please clarify how the tie breaker works?
I changed it a bit because it was originally going to be Props just based on total number of correct answers, while the probability of a tie was likely somewhat remote to begin with, I believe this adjustment makes it all but impossible.
Basically, if both people get question one, "Correct," or miss by the same amount, who have tied in points, then we move to question two...etc. If, at any point, someone gets a question right (or is closer) and the other person(people) is not, then the first person shall win.
I believe this would make any chance of a tie extremely remote.
Quote: Mission1461.) Who won the game and what is the exact margin of victory?

This is two questions. Is each half of the question equal? If someone guesses the wrong team that won, but nails the margin of victory, is that equal to guessing the right team that won but not having the correct margin of victory?

It gets treated as one question, but the first part is most important. You must get the team right to have answered the question correctly, and then the margin of victory is secondary.
For example, if Seattle wins by 10 and you guessed Seattle by 3 and someone else guessed Denver by 10, then the Denver guess is actually off by 20 points and the Seattle guess is off by 7, therefore, Seattle by 3 is more correct.
Oh, we should have a pool! $1 per answer. Total liability up to $11, the person who gets the closest on each question wins!
(1) Seattle by 4.
(2) 34
(3) 30
(4) 7
(5) 57
(6) 270
(7) 240
(8) 3
(9) 9
(10) 35
(11) 12
With that many punts, can't see the scores you project. Just sayin' ;-)

2.) JML24 must have one pick different from Beardgoat,
Does anyone now have a chance to beat Beardgoat?
The first thing to note is that KeyserSoze did not get his Picks in or open his reminder PM and is eliminated.
The Super Bowl Picks are as follows:
JML24:
SEA +2.5 UNDER 47
EdgeLooker:
DEN -2.5
UNDER 47
Beardgoat:
Broncos -2.5, Under
Boz:
DEN -2.5 U 47
Eliminations
Everyone is eliminated except for Beardgoat and JML24, if the Seahawks cover, then we shall go to the questions.
Quote: BeardgoatGood luck jml. Id imagine if seattle covers then you will win the tiebrraker.
Well?? Did Jml win the tiebreaker?
I am happy for the win but can't claim any special football knowledge or picking skill. I'm pretty sure it was down to:
1) Luck
2) If not sure, pick the underdog.
3) If not sure, pick the under.
4) Luck
