Hi!

Trying to wrap my head around this.

It was pretty easy to make a simple calculator with the equation found here: /games/slots/mystery-jackpot-ainsworth/

The general formula for the Target Point can be given as:

t = m × (h + r) / (h + 2r), where:

t = Target Point
m = Max jackpot
r = Rise of meter rate
h = House edge of game (taking into consideration the average value of the progressive)

What I'm trying to figure out is how to alter the formula to account for 24% withholding for W2. I can't just add 24% to h everywhere correct? Bit lost on this. Dividing result by .76 results in targets higher than must hits.

In thinking more about this, I think I need a different calculation altogether to answer this question. Like an expected value calculation right?

For that I'd need the probability of winning on a given spin...
