Had a sketchy situation happen last night and wanted to get your thoughts. Was playing the machine "Crazy Money II" in Atlantic City last night and something strange (at least to me) happened. This game has multiple progressive jackpots that are player funded and have the opportunity to hit when max betting in the "Mint Bonus" round. When I sat down, the "Little Crazy" jackpot was sitting at 101$. After a short amount of play I hit the Mint Bonus and I look up and the jackpot had reset to 25$. Luckily I didn't hit the little crazy jackpot in the bonus (or unluckily I guess depending on how you look at it) so I wasn't that angry but this still shouldn't happen right? Aren't all player funded jackpots supposed to be paid out, or at least shifted to another machine if not?
If you had to guess, is this more likely a glitch, or is the casino just stealing money? Something else? This particular casino has done a bunch of nickel and dime things that have annoyed me recently so maybe I am a bit paranoid, but wtf is this?
Thanks
Thanks

i play that game.
i call it a bug.
when the lower level progressive is worth more than the higher level progressive and you are slated to win a higher level progressive, it goes into this buggy mode.
the $ from the lower progressive is added to the higher progressive.
but im not sure if it's a complete reset of the lower progressive. i think only some of the $ is moved to the higher progressive such that you get more with the higher win.
on the plus side, you KNOW you're going to win the next progressive up when this happens
So for all intents and purposes that money disappeared! Weird.
Quote: onenickelmiracleSome machines reset more than 1 when 1 progressive is hit. Games like Dancing in Rio. Dont know the term for such a thing, is this game similar.
“Corporate theft”?

Can't be theft, it's just how the machines are programmed. You will get a small, medium or large jackpot, but if you hit one of them, the others drop. Is there a term for a machine like this Drich? Another one set up this way is Pirate's Loot, a trigger tile machine with progressive jackpots.
