I thought Ploppy originally meant people that will plop down on seat available and start playing. They don't care what the odds are. There could be a 99%+ return game open right next to their 90% game. Their bet size has nothing to do with it.

My understanding of the term was they plop their chips down on the table without thinking about it.

I use "ploppy" for non-professionals and non-wannabes ("citizen hustlers"). Does include heavy regular players, who know something about slot returns.

Not sure what other people do.

I was getting "Low Roller," confused with "Ploppy," ;) As in "Paul is playing Pharaoh's Fortune on a penny machine at 20 lines times one. .20 cents. He is a Ploppy. Franklin is playing 88 Fortunes at $8.80 a spin. On a $10 machine. (Almost $81 a spin)He is an Advantage Player." Franklin is really just a high roller, not necessarily a AP. And Paul is a Low Roller, not necessarily a Ploppy. ;) I just learned that today. :)

I wonder how long does it take for a minor meter to go from reset to hit.
