I probably won't check back on this. I went last night. 1st $20 on a different machine $0. I put my won $20 in hit 20 with 6 credits left so I was up $6. I played 2 or 3 times with a $20 ended up even. Then things went to hell. Put $20 in a machine $0 $30 in the one next to it $0. Went to a 3 credit machine $100 1 hit for $15 for the whole $100. Went to the atm took $300 out. put $100 in hit $60 when I was at $44 cashed out at $104 (hit 4x mixed bars). Went to the same type of machine. 3 credit 3x4x5x 97.8% payout machine. $104 in it maybe hit 3-4 times each time was $15 or less. Another $100 in it maybe payed me 6-7 times $15 or less. Lost $360. In 1 week alone I lost $100. My biggest lost before this was probably $225 in a week.

Last Year I hit $1750 ended up around $1000 ahead at the end of the year. (didn't play much). This year Jan/Feb I hit $1200, $1500, $960, $900, $600. Biggest hit lately was $480 3 weeks ago, walked out $400 up. (machine took $80 before giving me that hit). WIth that $1750 last year, I hit $500, $300 etc. I hit other things this year. I was up a good $4000-$4500 this year. My biggest lost has been $500 ($260 into $5 machine 2 credits at a time with $0 return). Then $360 last night. $250 2 dayhs before etc. If I had to bet my life I would say I am up $1000-$1500 for the year. I will end it there.

It isn't like I got a 1 time hit and thought I could do it again. I was damn near winning everytime I went to the casino. I had a win streak of 10 in a row on slots. This will sound crazy but I think luck is built up some how. Everytime I take months off or years off, I come back and win. I took off 3-5 years once came back and didn't want to play but my cousin did. I resisted for 3 hours. I took $100 put it into a $5 wheel of fortune game $1250 on the last spin. Long story short lifetime before I got back into this last year, I would say I was down a max of $2-3K. If you take the $1000 ahead last year and what I am up now, I am anywhere from even to -$500 lifetime. which isn't bad.

I am sick of winning and giving it back. If you read my post, last year or so I played double top dollar and got about $2000-$2500 up. Every day almost I hit over $500on the $1 machine. Then ended up losing it all back in 2 weeks after it. I don't know what the hell the deal is. I look around and see people hitting $100+ on $1 machines (which isn't much) and I can't even get more then 5x the bet on 90% of my hits. Then on top of it. It takes me about 15 spins just to land 1 thing for any score at all..

Another thing, I don't know what the hell this Kentry thing is and I am damn sick of it. You can also ban my ass since I am done with this. For any of you who wrote and replayed with this stupid ass Kentry thing, you can take Kentry and your stupid ass msg and shove them all up your ass. Now time to ban me since I am done with these damn slots. But you need to get things straight. I don't know wtf Kentry is and you need to stop assuming I am that person.

To the people that replied in this msg, it seems that both of you people hate slot machines and have lost your asses to reply to a thread like that. Flashing lights etc, throwing money away. I haven't given the casino a dime that I haven't won from them back since 2002, On top of that I still hold the card that I get a free buffet a day for a year. That alone is worth $4-$6K. I feel sorry for these people that have no self control though. The bastards hook you when you win and you have to break out of it. I have been there before twice now. $1250 win and the $2250 or so on top dollar. Actually now it is 3 times. It started with the $1750 back Nov 2016 and finally got to this point for me to finally lose enough where it is getting to close for comfort (plus add the fact of No hope at all of hitting anything ever).

The $1000 I lost in a week I will make back this week though. I am a tight ass SOB though. I hate tipping a waitress $1 extra. It is a pain to tip $5 when I usually tip $4. I agree with whoever made that comment about oh let me spend $100 before I buy a hotdog etc. The idea of making $25 and losing $200 to do it is stupid. But if I am going to go to the casino anyway, Then I atleast justify something. Who goes to the casino and happy with just $25 win? If a lot of people went to the casino and would walk out $25 ahead when they got $25 ahead how much money would people save? People are greedy ass people and want a lot more and end up losing a lot more times then they win for sure and probably everyone here can agree to that. I have put $10 free play into a machine and walked out just using that. Probably no one on the fourm can do that.

My goal for posting this was if anyone is on the fence about playing or not playing slot machines, they can read this and see the struggle that I have gone through. The best thing that can happen is not to win I know someone right now that claims that she is up $8000 or so at the casino., She has won more but lost a lot also. She also does not use her card, she can't do a win loss statement on it. She has no job and hasn't paid any tax on the $15,000 or so she claims she won. This whole journey for the last 2 years have been not worth it. Being up $2000 or so in 2 years with how many 100's of hours of wasted time. Then the stress of it all. I stil want to punch one of those things and rip out its guts like pulling a heart out of someone. That concludes my rant and any future post on here. You can believe what I say or you don't have to. What the hell do I have to prove. Just any of you people that have won before and trying to win again, this post is for you.

Slot machines are supposed to be fun. It sounds like you need a break from gambling, friend.

I don't know if this will help:

Yes you have

So, you didn't win the price of that movie then?

OK Krava, For context, I too play Recreationally in games that are stacked against me. I started out with a £6k up day, played it down to £1200 over a few months then up to £18k and then back down to around £5K. I did it for fun and the money is insignificant. So I don't knock anyone who plays games, even slots for recreation. However, your early good sessions have given you high expectations. You seem to be pumping higher session bankrolls into the hope of winning more. A few here have said that that is a bad sign. It's a friendly warning from us, not a rebuke or personal sleight.

And that's a bad thing. It's stuck the idea of winning in your head

Well, crazy was the word you use. I can think of a few others, but you might misconstrue them as insulting. But you do know it's crazy, so that's a start

Well that is a cycle that you are dragging yourself into, no-one else. Don't you realise that in aggregate, you are playing a long losing session which will be broken up by some up days? That is what I meant by 'part of the losing process'

Fair enough. I don't know or care if you are Kentry. He played slots: You play slots. Your styles of writing are similar. That's all.

No you are not. You are as adicted to this forum as you are to slots. ( I do think you are addicted to slots)
Quote:

. . .shove them all up your ass. Now time to ban me since I am done with these damn slots.

I doubt you qualify for a ban, needless, you are quitting nothing. I'd put money on it.

I don't hate slots. I just don't see them as value for money entertainment.

We all have occasional good luck. So good for you. . . Except it really hasn't been. You are behaving exactly how the casino planned it. Where you lifetime bankroll so far came from is of no concern. They want to own your future and they seem to be getting their way.

Say's who? That's just nonsense

I too set win goals. They are just part of the fun. But don't tie every prospective purchase into a slots session. That would be obsessive behaviour.

And my goal was to point out where bad thought processes are clear as day to all except yourself, for your benefit and for the benefit of those who follow your path.

Good. You realise that you have been dancing to the casino tune. When the fun stops STOP.
Beware. The earth is NOT flat. Hit and run is not a winning strategy: Pressing into trends IS not a winning strategy: Progressives are not a winning strategy: Don't Buy It! .Don't even take it for free.

The next-to-last time I went to Nortern Edge Casino in Farmington, NM, I won $5,000 on a $5 slot machine. My picture is still there!

But the last time I was there, I won no more than $25 on dollar slots (while losing ten times that in the process), and the only 4 of a kind in video poker I got was at the multi-draw machines. I went there three times in my 2 day visit and played lots of hands of video poker, mostly single draw because of the better paytable. The paytables are not great, but there's nothing else to do in that town, and the probability of winning 4 of a kind is no different. The difference is that you don't win as much for a flush or full house -- well that's the cost of going to nearby New Mexico instead of Nevada. I go to Nevada half the time just for that reason!

I lost $35 at blackjack, $3 a hand (and a $2.50 chip to the tip box).

I'm fully aware that slot machines and video poker are random number generators. Video poker is nice because you can calculate the payback percentage (as opposed to the black box of slot machines), the return is higher than slot machines, and it slows you down if you play as perfectly as possible and carefully. Double-check before hitting draw, and you lose more slowly and make far fewer mistakes. But after a while it gets boring, so I play slot machines.

Set a budget for this (way in advance, not while walking in the doors), and stick to it. Only bring the max you are willing to lose and do not visit the ATM.
