what's there to learn from vp videos?Quote: AlanMendelsonTo me it makes no difference if he was given cash, tickets or vouchers to play.
I'm more interested in watching youtubers who explain proper strategy. Whether they win or not means nothing to me.
I dont watch the slot videos-- what's there to learn? Though American Casino Guide did do a couple of videos about finding slots close to their bonus rounds.
If you're asking am I troubled by rigged videos, the answer is no. It's not bonafide news. I dont think these youtubers need to prove any credibility because I'm not investing in their play.
But if they were soliciting my money for a share of the action my attitude would be different.

Quote: AxelWolfThis guy in the first video is full of BS with a big agenda. This guy and whoever is claiming 35k an hour to stream. I don't believe it. Sure, they might offer someone 35k to do it one time or something that's certainly not an ongoing offer. This guy follows up with people making/being offered millions a month, and that being normal. I call BS. It's not happening where normally people are actually making millions a month streaming online gambling.

Well it depends on normal, many of these channels are the rare Youtubers with millions of subscribers, who probably can charge 35k for an ad (this is probably not the norm). Some of the Channels like "Nelk" probably can charge 35k easily for an hour long ad.
But, the amount is irrelevant. Even if they are only be paid 10 Dollars an hour to stream, the alarming thing is that the money in their account, is not theirs and is placed there by the Casino to get people hyped about playing slots, they are not gambling their own money.
For example if there is a random Youtuber you follow that posts video game footage everyday. And, then he randomly starts streaming online slot play with absurd balances, he's not doing that for fun....
The issue is slot streamers who pretend to be risking their own money while playing with casino money.
That is why earlier in the thread a long time ago some people said how commendable it is that Channel X (not going to name anyone specifically) does not run ads during slot streams and that shows how legit they are (paraphrasing). Could that be because the whole video is a paid ad? Why would you not run ads on a video that gets high views unless you are told not to as part of an agreement (especially if youtubing is your career)?
I feel like a lot of people are not seeing that a lot of these have the potential to be direct or indirect advertisements (in the case of physical casinos) In the case of online casinos when crypto is used its provable that they are direct ads (but I am correlating it back to traditional slot streamers) ...

i'm the exact opposite.
I love it when I lose my hard earned cash.
I'm so happy to walk out with nothing except for the smile on my face.
On occasions when i do win, I'm devastated..
I love donating to the casino.
BTW, i'm being sarcastic ...
Quote: DRichI don't think I have ever been mad about losing money gambling. I just don't put enough money at risk that would make me mad to lose it. When I was gambling daily I would set a stop loss limit for the day. If I was down $10k for the day I just quit immediately so that I wouldn't chase.

There's nothing wrong with a stop loss when losing, and nothing wrong with a stop loss to preserve a percentage of your profits when winning.
When i first started gambling, i brought $500 x # of days in Vegas.Quote: DRichI don't think I have ever been mad about losing money gambling.

so 6 days = $3k.
and I set a stop limit of $500/day even if i didn't lose $500 the previous day.
Those were the days when i had discipline.
Now, i might lose all $3k in a day.
Then do the walk of shame to the ATM. (At least i'm smart enough to have a bank that reimburses ATM fees)
And even though $3k is an even smaller % of my net worth now than when I first gambled in Vegas decades ago, it still sucks to lose it all in 1 day.
Craps/uth- I buy in for $500. If i lose it, i switch to the other game. If i lose it in the 2nd game, i go for a walk/eat lunch or dinner.
Rinse/repeat 3 times.
i don't get mad. Instead, i feel sad.
Why do i continue to gamble since i'm not having fun with a losing streak???
Luckily, this has only happened twice in the past decades. (With the 2nd time being this week.)
I should set a stop loss limit again.
yeah, $1000/day sounds good. ($500 per game per day)
uth $400 buy in, $10 ante/blind.Quote: rxwineThe situation I know that is going to irk me, is when the game or games gives me way less play than what I expect for the investment. You go to the casino and expect your stake to last the usual 1 1/2 or 2 hours and instead, it's gone in 30 minutes from nasty variance.
Even if I lose, I don't like to feel cheated as well. Very annoying.

Get 6 good hands in a row that warrants 4x ($40) Play bet.
Lose all 6 = I'm gone in 5 min :(
Rinse/repeat multiple times.
Angry at first that Gaming gods hate me this week.
then sadness afterwards when i beat myself up for buying in again that day
