Quote: RSWait....what? How does it work if there's no electricity? Or by "no batteries" did you mean you gotta plug it into the wall?
I have one of those. It's spring driven. When you pull the handle, it winds up on the downstroke, and the wheels fly when you let go. If they land on a winning combo, a trap door inside opens and drops the coins. All or nothing, not a fixed amount by spin value.
Must have been almost 20 years ago I bought it in the gift shop. It was around $30 or $35; I don't know that they ever gave them away as a promo, but I'm sure they could have.

Thanks babs u explained the no batteries part better than i could
I do have a different slot from u since mine does not pay all or nothing. Look at my pics and info
U get paid based on how many symbols line up. The trap door is compartmentalized. U can actually feel the separate trap doors with ur finger if u reach under. Depending on the win u get the corresponding column of coins. Its only awards everything if u hit the jackpot

Yeah, I like yours a lot. I was specifically referencing the Harrah's model in the picture, not yours. Definitely yours has more going on inside, with a coin sorter and distinct jackpots.

I thought u were referencing the harrahs model but ur response to RS about no batteries was his response to my op stating my slot worked without any hence i wasnt certain which u were referring to specifically
All cleared up now lol
Somehow it wound up in his basement.
It was a nickle machine, and it worked just fine.
I loved to bet my paper route earnings in that one armed bandit.
Quote: MobcasinosVery nice slot toy you have there. Where did your buy that slot toy. Does is it work like a real slot machine you just spinning and no paying?
Yes like a real slot machine. There are spins with no wins and where u only win smaller amounts based on the center line pay
Any result with no bar in first reel of center line is a no pay
I think RS was "trolling" and you fell for it.Quote: beachbumbabsI have one of those. It's spring driven. When you pull the handle, it winds up on the downstroke, and the wheels fly when you let go. Just to be clear, you bought the toy slot bank like the one that says Harrah's Lake Tahoe on it? I haven't found any pictures of a casino-branded machine that has the wooden base, so it seems rare. But I guess the chance (probability!) of someone having one of those is greater here!
Video if my toy slot. Didnt win :(
