Bad news for Canadian slot machine players: self serve kiosks at Casino Rama (Orillia Ontario) no longer round up to the nickel when cashing out. eg. No longer treat $4.96 and $5.01 cash out as $5.00 and $5.05, respectively. They now follow the "official" rounding policy, eg. Treat $4.98 and $5.03 cash out as $5.00 and $5.05, respectively.
Not really an "advantage play" anymore, but still a good time waster.

This has some advantage and disadvantage for everyone. Let say your cashing out a $4.98 the machine will give you a $5 which is good considering your are sort of $0.02. If your are trying to cash out a $5.03 your will end up getting $5 losing a $0.03. I don't know if this will be a big deal for other but for me it is good. Losing some cents will not make me have a broken heart.
