I have a question regarding a winning hand. Forgive me for being a hold 'em novice. If two players are in a hand and one has AK and the other has K5, which would win the hand with the following board, or would it be a split pot? AQJT6. They both obviously have Ace high straights, but does the fact that the one hand made the straight with the Ace in hand win the pot, or is that not a factor because of the Ace on the board?

It's a push. You take the five cards that make the best poker hand whether they are on the board or in your hand makes no difference.
