I don't think the two guys were idiots. Nor were they overly lucky. Sure, they sucked out on the river, but that happens.

The fact that you were ahead both times is irrelevant. Trips / sets rarely hold up in Omaha. And it was big O at that! You had low trips / sets. They were very vulnerable. And got beat.

Of course this doesn't mean there wasn't something fishy going on. I just don't see it. And 2 hands is hardly a good sample.

The "unlucky" part may be about getting beaten on the river, but the "idiot" part is about calling the raise preflop. These guys wasn't even supposed to see the flop.

There are videos on just about every online poker room being rigged. What evidenced indicates PS is over the others? I would think PS would be less likely my guess would lean more towards players having more hacks then we realize.

Well... in the first hand, at least, your villain was ahead of you preflop. So... not exactly an idiot to call there, right? And then he hits top two pair.

Fact is, there just aren't a lot of pre-flop huge favorites in PLO. Sure, these are both bad beats... but they aren't THAT bad. And why would you think Pokerstars would cheat a low-limit PLO game and risk the Billion-dollar empire they've setup? There is certainly cheating happening at Pokerstars and every other online poker site, but it's collusion, not internal. I'd suggest that neither of these hands are suspicious at all.

Stop being paranoid, imo.

Horrible reasoning. It sounds logical but we are dealing with a few key Factors. Human nature: Greed for money. The company as a whole would not want to plan a cheating situation. Individuals would. We are talking hundreds of millions by gaffing the games. People kill for much less. If they think they can get away with it, they will try.

First, I want to clarify that I didn't claim it's rigged. (that's from another member). I just think they are idiots who got lucky.

And secondly, the first game is not exactly "plain" omaha. It's called Courchevel and there is a little difference: the first card of the flop, ie {2d} is shown before the (remaining) flop when your hand is dealt. So with that {2d} showing, his [Kc 5c Td 8d 6c] had nothing except a remote second tier flush draw. Calling my re-raise with this is totally out of context.

Yes, I totally agree, even Trips / sets are not that strong in Omaha. But then it just show they are idiots going all-in with only 2 pairs.

I thought we were talking about a microstakes Five-card PLO game. But I guess people do kill for less than $10...

i am not saying the game IS rigged, but the man had a point.

People who own the business don't want to cheat, but people who don't have a cut of the profit don't give a damn. Technician, hackers, programmers...

We are talking about many, many micro stakes games that run 24/7 365.

Congrats on condemning logical reasoning with a post that made absolutely no sense at all.

To the OP.. "thats poker". You are playing a low limit game. You are getting your money in ahead. You lost on the river. When you lose two perfect perfects in a row, then you should come to a forum to complain. Otherwise, cheer up. Things will get better. You aren't being cheated by a random number generator that is overseen with the strictest guidelines and supervision in the business.

Now collusion is another story.... Good luck.
