Mrs Mosca and I spent a very pleasurable day at The Borgata yesterday (total bankroll of $900, played from 10AM to 7PM, lost $20 total between us). At one point mid afternoon I tried something different from what I normally do; I moved from game to game around the casino, and played 10 hands at each game. I didn't play any games that I didn't understand, or hadn't seen or read about, so no "Asia Poker", "Mississippi Stud", or "Flop Poker".
What I did see, though, was this pairs-plus bonus pay table for the 3 Card bet in Let it Ride Bonus:
So, in addition to being the most advantageous pay table for the 3 card hand bonus, it adds 10 units for the mini royal! The 40/30/6/4/1 has a house advantage of 2.38%; adding 40 units to the total possible payout changes this to 2.29%, by my attempt at doing math.
(edit: that's wrong. It should change it to 2.37%. I missed taking 4 hands away from the straight flushes, I was counting the mini royals in both groups.)
For comparison, The Borgata's regular 3 Card Poker pairs-plus pay table is
House edge of 4.2% So, the spin-off pay table is better than the one used on the game it is derived from!
