Bingo rooms in Nevada limiting to 50% capacity which is good new for AP bingo players. Chose the better sessions to play and max out your machines!

Elsewhere, they were recently doing drive-in Bingo with people sitting in their cars while they called numbers and in 2 weeks there will be a drive-in Pro Wrestling Independent show in South Jersey with all proceeds going to the local first responders fund.

Interesting concept as about 25 years ago WCW tried this with it's annual wrestling PPV event in Sturgis, SD called Hog Wild, where they let bikers attend the show on Harleys for free. Jay Leno even had a tag team "match" with DDP against Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff!

I used to tag along with my mother while she played car bingo on an Indian Reservation in the late 70's. Didn't get any AP notes though, I was only 5.

After my 2nd session, I hit a $1000 coverall. Love the rule of limiting the capacity to less than 50%

I don't like to play Bingo unless there's less than 75 people in the room. Local casino Bingo is near 1000 people and they've got too many Bingo cards to count. Bingo used to fund my gambling in the '90's.

You can't beat the game competing against 1000 players. Fortunately the casino is right across the street from where I live and they have capped the number of players to 46 players.

Bingo Taxes Withheld By The IRS | Recover Your Bingo Winnings Tax
https://usgamblingrefund.com/bingo-winnings

If you have won a bingo jackpot in the US, you were issued an IRS Form 1042-S.
Form 1042 - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Form_1042

When Are Bingo Wins Taxed?
If you win a bingo jackpot that is at least $1200 USD, your bingo winnings will be reduced by a withholding tax of 30%. However, if you have several bingo wins that add up to $1200 USD or more in a taxation year, you will not be taxed. A further exception is as follows: some Indian tribal bingo halls and casinos in the United States may assess the 30% bingo tax on all bingo winnings (without the need to meet a specified threshold) for US non-residents.

I would figure the casino would halve their Bingo payouts with a required half room occupancy. Guess they haven't adjusted yet.

I rarely play the cash ball, but in the event someone hits for over 1200, lets say for 1400, they have the option of taking 1199 cash which is not taxed. The rest goes back into the pool. So you forfeit the balance. Thats the option they give where I play.

The limited capacity combined with offering the same sessions and payouts is working for me. This is definitely one game that every Bingo AP should be taking advantage of.

Now, during the isolation it`s unsafe to go out and play Bingo, so I prefer to do it from home far away from pandemic world. So my friend recommended me one cool site which called online casino syndicate , maybe you should try it too.

Do you have some numbers on all this? Payouts, number of people, what kind of packs you are playing etc.

What I have noticed, and its surprising, unlike the table games, the bingo rooms have not adjusted the sessions, payouts or buy ins after cutting their capacity by 60%. As a bingo player, you should be taking advantage of this every day in Las Vegas. Unfortunately I live up north, and my options to play is limited. Far as I'm concerned, this pandemic has been the best thing that has ever happened when it comes to playing Bingo.

Axelwolf, are you in Vegas or up around Reno?

By chance did you notice the adjusted maximum occupancy? I asked my local bingo room, and they cap it at 46, I think the room holds like 175. There have been times where they were turning people away, which was great. Where I play, you can load up to 240 cards in the machines for their regular sessions. When I lived in Vegas I use to play at the Suncoast a lot after Stations put a cap on the coverall cards. I usually would play their 3 chance 1k coverall sessions or the double/triple payout sessions.

Just this Monday, I hit 50% of all bingos, which included the coverall. What sucks is that the payouts are horrible up north. The only reason I play is because I can use the promo chips that I receive each week for bingo. So I only spend $3, which covers the rent of the electronic machine.

No. I'll look for that my next time there. As you know, the Suncoast bingo room is huge. On a normal session it is only about 25% full. I did see they had plexiglass protectors around just some of the "big screens," but don't know if it was against the rules to play at an unprotected one.

Did you used to play the 9:00 PM session at the Red Rock? I loved those coverall cards until they put that cap on them.

I believe I heard Jonathan Jossel mention on their podcast, that while Plaza spread things out in the bingo room, they also expanded into the conference room to get the capacity back. I assume this is temporary. And it makes sense since there aren’t many conferences these days...

You are saying that there were multiple winners for a single bingo game? That is not uncommon? Nothing worse than splitting a payout with another winner.

If you were given the chance by the bingo room, would you pay extra money for insuring your cards so that in the event there were multiple winners, you would receive the full pay? I like to call it bingo insurance.
