Didn't link yet... just heard this on Radio News. Its as I figured... if the Players have to return the cash, so does the House if it goes the other way. A backhanded way of preserving Players rights. Probably ruled "dead hand" at some point.
EDIT: Declared "illegal gaming" thus voiding all play.
Wonder if the NJCCC (or whatever it is today) will impose a fine for the "illegal gaming" situation.

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

On another site, a member made an excellent point: Shouldn't the casino refund player's losses (even previous to this day) since those would all be 'illegal' as well?

Yeah, absolutely. The NJCCC should make an example out of them. I'll toss out a suggestion, $ 2 million fine PLUS whatever settlement the Casino got from the card manufacturer.
From the article:
"The dealer did not pre-shuffle the cards immediately prior to the commencement of play, and the cards were not pre-shuffled in accordance with any regulation," the judge wrote. "Thus, a literal reading of the regulations ... entails that the game violated the (Casino Control) Act, and consequently was not authorized."
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart
