Hello
Here in the UK 3 card poker is like this
Pair Plus-
35/1 Straight Flush
33/1 Trips
6/1 Straight
4/1 Flush
1/1 Pairs
Prime -
4/1 player and dealer cards all same colour
3/1 Player cards same colour
Ante as usual with rising payouts depending on your hand.
What I would like to know is this
Most casinos use the auto shuffle machine which spits out 3 cards at a time which are given to the players then the dealer last of all and normally when people have made the decision to muck or play. These tables use two decks of different coloured cards and one Is being auto-shuffled as the other is in play (I presume).
However when the casino is busy etc there are some tables which use one deck, dealer shuffles, puts cards in shoe, pulls individual cards to each player as in blackjack and deals thereself one card at a time until everyone has the required amount.
Can someone advise me of the difference in variance/house edge/percentage between these two formats? it would be helpful to know what table is best for me if any ha.
Cheers

There is no difference.
However, if there is a weak shuffle (which is difficult for single deck), you could use this to your advantage.
But if you're just playing the game "normally" (without information), then there isn't a bit of difference when it comes to dealer procedures.
