I have been working on my 2024 taxes and compiling the results from all of my different online sites into one big spreadsheet. I played on 19 different sites. I played at least some on 290 days. I spent a lot of time on vacation (47 nights on cruise ships), but I played 7 days a week when I was not out of state on business or pleasure.
This graph shows the cumulative Win/Loss and Bonus in US$. Win/Loss means actual (coin out – coin in) and Bonus means any promotional cash or free slot/table play credits that was deposited into my account and redeemed by me. Total mean the net profit.
I usually have a negative W/L at the end of the year. However, I went on a heater from February to June and this gave me my by far my highest annual W/L of my career at $309K. My Bonus total came in light compared to prior years, so this ended up being only my second largest total profit of any year. My net profit was $831K or $2865 per day.
My rate of Bonus accumulation slowed sharply in May when I was stripped of all promos at two GNOG online casinos. My Bonus total was the lowest for any year since I started playing online seriously. I still ended the year with $520K worth of bonuses plus at least $10K worth of physical prizes for which I was not issued a 1099. More than half my profit for the year came from the two properties where I was eventually stripped of all promos. In one case, my crime was winning the weekly leaderboard almost every week while making the mistake of showing a positive W/L. No worries. I would rather get kicked out of a joint for winning too much money versus being welcome at a place where I am not making money.
I know there are members here who are violently opposed to the idea that there is easy money to be made online. My biggest regret in life is that I ever listened to these know-nothings. I wasted years slaving away in B&M casinos when the real money was online. People will fight each other for a B&M AP play worth $50, but they won't ever spend time exploring to see what AP plays are available online and thinking creatively about it.
I rarely log in to WOV anymore. I get an e-mail alerting me when someone sends me a DM and I will try to log in to read the message.

You made yourself almost a millionaire in a year. This is extremely hard to believe. What games have you been playing? As I recall, you talked a lot about Bingo Blackjack.

in my youth, i used to spend hrs online multi-player gaming.
sometimes 24hrs+ straight.
Agreed on fighting over $50 in ev with other APs.
but now, you can't barely find even $5 ev plays anymore with multi-carders taking them early.
at least for my nearest casino.
But i still like being in the casino physically.
enjoying the 'free' mentality because of comps: Nice room for a few days, Different types of restaurants
basically, Gets me out of the house.
i AP for fun but for $800k profit, i dont mind being stuck at home.

that's a whole lot of "thank yous" , I'm guessing mostly due to the next to last paragraph, rather than cheerleading

I was already a millionaire when I retired from my professional day job more than 20 years ago. This is a slightly better than average year for me online.

I am just a contractor for MGM. They offer me promotional contract terms and I decide if I can fulfill the terms of the contract with an expectation of profit. The contract terms almost always specify which game (or small set of games) I must play to fulfill the contract, and they specify the dollar amount of the award and the requirements for bonus play through. As you can see, I have played a lot of games for promotions. On other sites, I played hundreds more.
I think of myself as a contractor. You may think of me as a bonus whore. If that is your preferred terminology, then I would prefer to be called a high-priced bonus call girl.
