Hi there Mr. Shackleford,
I am just over from Steve Bourie's forum.
Steve is probably one of the finest people out there.
I love your podcasts with him. It's a gamblers delight!
I am here hoping you can clear this up with 5Dimes.
I have not played there nor do I intend to because they haven't displayed their payout % and the last time their games were checked for consistency was in 2003, which is close to 8 years now.
I found out about 5Dimes when I was reading some old posts on Casinomeister. The posters went and asked the live help at 5Dimes why they haven't been up to date with the payout percentages and the fairness checks. The reply was that there must be some kind of error and that they will inform management immediatly to fix it. This was about 5 years ago and nothing has changed.
I asked 5Dimes' live chat just a moment ago to explain why they are not transparent about this. I did not get a reply.
As your name is on their site I am hoping you can shed some light upon this.
A side note: they have a 110% Video Poker in their Bonus Casino. If my memory serves me correctly it is their Royal Jackpot Deuces Wild.
Thanks!

I have no idea why they stopped. Lots of Internet casinos don't publish payout percentages, so that shouldn't be too alarming.
About the video poker, I just had a look, but most of the pays were "undefined" for Royal Jackpot Deuces. They have lots of other video poker games too. I looked at just one, a normal $1 deuces game, which as the 200-20-12-9-5-3-2-2-1 pay table, at 98.94%.

Exactly how it turned out.
It was easy to get in contact with Tony through the live help at 5Dimes.
He agreed to provide me with the payout percentages from the slots and the video poker from the bonus casino at 5Dimes from the period of January the 1st 2010 up till now.
He mentioned a 3rd party monitor, someone who was "most highly regarding one" as he put it, has been hired to check the payouts of the casino games.
An email arrived a few hours later with screenshots of the administrations records of the payout percentages for the period in question.
The results seemed to fall in line with the expected norms for the type of games.
Total for slots was ~96% payout percentage.
Total for video poker was ~98.5% payout percentage.
I did however have a few questions about the interpretation of the charts.
One of them was the definition of ‘hold %’
This question and a few others were cleared up by email.
I am now fully satisfied with 5Dimes, after this post I will more than likely make my first deposit and start playing.
Tony: i could tell you what it is, but if you really don't trust in the software, i'm not sure why you would trust in my word
Let’s face it; there are a lot of online casinos out there who would rather steal your money than let you walk out ahead. This industry is full of criminals. You have to use caution or you’re going to be cheated.
