What are you current, most favourite online casinos and sportsbook platforms?
Or maybe you recently found some interesting, upcoming sites?
Are any of them blockchain based?
Oh, I almost guarantee that a new member will be along shortly raving about this great online gaff that fits the bill. Then I'll nuke the pair of them for conspiring to spam the forum. Innocent until proven guilty :o) Then summarily executed.Quote: BellaingYou are asking for them or you are going to promote your here

It’s most likely a pair of bots or more than that working together you guys get the weirdest advertising plots I’ve ever seen

I'm not going to promote mine here. I simply started a thread where I ask questions about other users experiences/insights into the blockchain based and online iGaming they favor :)

No intent of spamming and raving about "this great online gaff" ;]

You can read reviews.
Quote: BlackjackLoverYou can read reviews.
You can either continue to bounce the ball back and forth with me, or share your knowledge about what I asked in the first place.
I don't think that a review of every new site, that users stumble upon, is being posted here. Correct me if I'm wrong ;)

No reviews of blockchain, cryptocurrency accepting or decentralized casinos.
In that case, thank you and a warm welcome to the forum.Quote: BitwinNo intent of spamming and raving about "this great online gaff" ;]
Forgive the cynicism. It does happen here a lot. I see the fudged link in your profile. I might looksee later. I don't think Wizard would object to that.

Thank you! I can imagine it happens a lot. I know this community is knowledgeable and my intent was to get some insights on the blockchain/crypto online casinos from you peeps ;)
@BlackJackLover
This is not really up to date. And these portals are mostly limited to Bitcoin payments.
Do you have any resources regarding decentralized casinos or sportsbetting portals? Those, in which the casino does not have control over the users funds at any point of the games?

What do you mean by "does not have control"? Casinos must be able to hold your funds. Do you mean casinos that use third parties to hold the funds? Do they exist? Do you have an example of such casinos?

The thing is - they don't, and the third party doesn't have to be involved. Unless, you call an app designed by the casino as a third party. In short, some blockchains (Ethereum) allow for creation of smart-contracts , which once written and pre-programmed, always carry out an identical function - it's basically a form of an app that cannot be altered once programmed.
If one uses smart contract for wagers it can be designed in such a way that there is no deposit - you simply interact with a smart contract and depending on a wager result, money is being transferred back to your account with winnings, or your wager is sent to casinos account. So, basically, this way casino can never hold your funds, freeze them, or whatsoever.
Do they exist, do I have example? Yes, and no ;)
Quote: BlackjackLoverI used to read a lot about online casinos, but I have never heard of any casino that operates the way you described.
Unfortunately, I can't paste links to articles but google "decentralized online casinos", "decentralized gambling (platforms)", "decentralized casino and betting", the casinos that may pop up is Edgeless or Sp8de. However, the these are not really decentralized.
I wish I could name another one but I don't want to violate forum rules regarding promotion .
I'm just getting started with online casinos, so I'm not sure that I'm "qualified" enough. Currently, I play on - my friend said to me that this is a very basic one and I should start with it. But I'm planning to move to FuturoBet soon, because they're supporting FuturoCoin, which is one of my favorite altcoins.
