What makes me believe the dealer is given an unfair advantage is that it appears the dealer is much more likely during any given session (with occasional exceptions of the player receiving a run of good cards) of hitting 21 or even 5-card charlies while the player is subject to busting more frequently. Further, as a corollary, I also suspect that the dealer receives more favorable cards once the wager amount is increased as well. That's obviously a harder thing to prove but I've varied my betting amounts enough to believe it's quite possible.
If my suspicions could be debunked and shown to be false, I'd more than be thankful for information that disproves what I've discussed. Thank you to everyone who's willing to help.
Quote: intheshadowsI'm new to the site and as a result I expect that my thread will be discounted. Regardless, I wanted to post about playing this particular game on 5Dimes as I've come to believe that the house has a higher edge than should exist. I don't have software present on my computer to analyze the results so I can only postulate such a thing based on the thousands of hands I've played on the game over a period of time. I would need someone else to conduct an experiment to verify if it's simply variance or not.

There are TONS of people who feel this way. True or not(I think it's absolutely rigged in that form) just don't ever play again.

How is that a corollary?

There are no documented confirmed facts being accumulated by online regulation enforcement after launch. Unlike Las Vegas regulators that are individually monitoring house gross and house holds on all table and electronic games weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually while making all of this information available to the public; online casinos after approval and launch are not being monitored, and therefore there is no way to be certain software tampering is not taking place.
This is known in the online gaming industry as self-regulation. Personally, gambling and self regulation should never be used in the same sentence.
If you have enough live experience to compare your online play to, then be certain to go with your gut feelings.
