Others can confirm this for sure, but I think the answer is “Yes.”

Here in MS, you need a 300 to 1 payout to get taxed. For example a 6 number Firebet at 1000 for 1 but not a 5 number at 250 for 1.
When a rock is thrown into a pack of dogs, the one that yells the loudest is the one who got hit.

Doesn't that apply to physical tables though? The game in question is a machine, which the federal requirements generally consider a "slot machine" for tax purposes — even if it is a video poker, blackjack, or craps machine.

Yep, they are slot machines. In CA and Nevada the machine will not let you play until you are given a W2G and the slot attentent resets the machine. My friend was making $25 to $100 bets on the 2 and 12 and found out the hard way.

While the machine could not be played, waiting to be reset, the credits could not be removed from the machine to be placed into another, 4 more Hi-Lo bets hit. Of course, he could not bet, the machine was locked out.
He was pissed off and I watched the whole thing and did not have a bankroll to put into my machine.

Now when we play, we use 3 machines. We have also heard the same story from big field bettors, that if you parlay a hit that pays $1200 or higher, you can not play anymore until the machine is reset.

Really stupid rules
