Hello everyone. I'm a wrong better at craps (and always will be), but I was wondering about comps at the game. For the record, I play because I like the game and, of course, the comps are a bonus that everyone likes. I'm not going to adjust my bettin to get more comps but what I'm wondering is, using whatever theo formula that a casiono uses to determine comps, do they change it to "punish" a wrong better like me so that the comps come slower? I wsa just wondering even though I play for the came and not for the comps.

The house edge on wrong bets is miniscule so I wouldn't expect much in comps.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Depends how the casino rates players and bets. Some rate your total average bet and that's all they put in the computer, whether it's a line bet, odds, place bets, and/or center bets. Others rate everything except your odds bets. Although rare, I know some floor people who double or triple your average bet in the center bets (so if you always bet $5 on each hardway, instead of that counting as $20 in action, they count it as $40 or $60 in action). Others, on the other hand, don't even rate players who bet BOTH the pass and don't pass lines, claiming they even each other out so they shouldn't be rated (I'm not saying that's true, just that's what they say).

Well, it's only a few hudretchs of a point better than betting right. Do the comps suck on that its well?

Also, do they adjust the cops for what you bet- rewarding the hard way bettors more than the pass/don't pass ones?

Maybe if you're an a-hole, but no, generally speaking, I highly doubt you would be negatively affected for betting on the don't.

If you bet continuously on the DC, I could see them shorting you, but again, I doubt you would get any special/negative attention.
