I am an avid craps player and I have received a great promo chip offer for Harrahs in Tahoe. As many of you may know Caesars has changed how promo chips can be played with craps; your chips stay up with a win but its only for even money, no hard ways, place bets etc.

Here are my thoughts on a strategy:

-$25 pass line bet along with a $25 don't pass bet (all promo chips)

Being that the promo chips stay in play with a win, every hand I will receive a $25 real chip as well as keeping a $25 promo chip (one goes down) With my rough calculations, on $3000 in promo chips I will guarantee at least $1500 in profit, as well as $750 in promo chips to replay using the same strategy to win more. I'd like some advice and opinions if my strategy is flawed.

Thanks!!!!

Mike

Don't forget that a 2 (Tahoe is like Reno, correct? DP/DC are Bar 2?) on the come-out results in you losing a promo chip but not getting a real chip back (since the DP is a push).

since promo chips mean you can't lose money, I'd just go for it and see if I could win more than $1500

Too much fine print with this kind of ****. Just let the people play and let it be enjoyable rather than all the restrictions which foster brand resentment.
I am a robot.

I don't think they'll like your strategy. Probably best to give them some real $$$ action. Don't stiff them. Because you'll just get worse offers in the future and they'll tighten up.

I'd say put a promo chip on the pass, real money odds (0 EV) and buy a 4 or 10 (small loss).

I'm pretty sure it's a 12 that's a push at Harrahs and Harveys; that's about the only real bad roll I can get on the come out.

Amen my man!! The messed up part is they just changed the "promo" chip rules a month before my visit last year. There's nothing like hitting a hard way with house money lol!!

I'm not sure if your familiar with the Harrahs 7Star; but my 2014 tier score was 450k and it takes 150k to renew the tier level. I give them enough action, trust me!! lol. I just want to be able to maximize my "promo" play. Essentially it will be them staking me since I will end up playing the real chips before the trip is done.
